Not gonna happen. Wait a few days and Mitch will pull a rabbit out of his hat. Its not gonna be a rabbit that we will necessarily like, but it will be an anti tank move. Top 3 protected? We were lucky to jump to 2 this year. Ball might bounce the other way next year.

Take the protection off the Sixers pick in exchange for Embiid. I want this monkey off our back. Hinkie might do it for some sense of certainty at this point. Good chance we're gonna suck hard enough to be in contention for that third pick.

Lets not talk about any individual rookies please... remember that Okafor was #1 all year long and we let him slip past us to #3. It doesnt matter who impresses now but 11 months from now.

The Sixers view Embiid as a transcendent talent. The next great center in the aura of Shaq,Olajuwon, Duncan.He's not available for trade.
How about this. You are going nowhere fast, its going to be a rough year. You will be 28- 54 and most likely wont even have a #1 pick to soften the blow.
