OT: All You Kevon Looney Lover's....Ya Boy Is Out 4-6 Months

I remember many here clamoring before and on draft night for this guy, now some didn't want anything to do with him because he has the frame of a big that will always be injured. He was banged up at UCLA and now he has to have hip surgery. Glad we didn't touch this kid, he's going to be forever up and down because he'll always be nursing injuries.

Not sure why you are taking perverse pleasure in his injury. If he did not have a back problem, he'd have been 10-15 range and should have been drafted ahead of guys like Swaggy Oubre.

Lol.....where at in my post do you sense me reveling in pleasure on his injury ?
I'm just clearly stating that this guy will be chronically injured. It's no coincidence that this injury is a byproduct of his previous injury. But most of all the hype that guys here had for him in my opinion was unwarranted. It wasn't like he was some dominating presence....he's not even better than Julius so I didn't get the hype.
But to seem as if I was enjoying his being hurt is a big reach Slava....you know be better than that.

So in 2 or 3 years, Ty can make a thread and throw Looney's MVP award in Deeps face. It's all good.

will still end up being a better pro than Nance IMO....Nance doesn't belong in this league.

I think it's way to early to say Nance or anybody doesn't belong in the league yet.

of course, its one opinion to another....thats just how I feel based on what I saw so far. Not much of an offensive guy, besides dunking and not much of a rebounder nor defender, of course it was just summer leagues. But just from what I saw from him on the court I dont think it was a good pick. People are saying he'll be a fan favorite cause of his hustle, so similar to Turiaf but we'll just have to see how far that gets him.

I hear you. I felt like we could've picked him up in the 2nd round. Guess we just have to wait and see how he does during preseason.
