Williams recently spoke with Joey Ramirez of Lakers.com about the two promising backcourt players for the Lakers and what he’s seen so far in Russell and Clarkson:
“They’re just ready to work,” Williams said. “One thing I can say about these guys is they come in with their ears open, eyes wide and ready to listen and learn. At the same time, they’re trying to prove themselves against veteran guys such as myself.
“It’s been some of the same experiences I remember from when I was coming into the league; just trying to prove my name and, at the same time, trying to learn from everybody else.”

I know the whole "Kobe doesn't get along with his teammates or doesn't hang out with them" is over blown but the young guys on our team are very outgoing and seems to really embrace social media. It's nice to see them hanging out off the court. And once DLo, Randle, and Clarkson establishes themselves as the real deal in this league I can see them trying to recruit other players to join them. Again, I'm not saying Kobe didn't recruit but it just seems like going forward things will operate differently.

Clarkson's first shot in that clip looks like a travel to me. It's crazy that Beal is only 22 (and younger than Clarkson), feels like he's been in the league a long time.

Woj has somehow really plugged himself into the Lakers organization this season. No more breaking news coming out of Ramona or any of the LA beat guys.
