If he gets signed I think both Black and Sacre will be waived. Tariq Black seems like he doesn't care about defense and Sacre obviously shouldn't be anywhere near this team.

Sanders is a tremendous defensive talent, and can disrupt the pick and roll far better than Hibbert, who is more of a rim protector. If we had both of those guys engaged, and playing like they used to, this team will be very interesting.

C: Hibbert/Sanders/Upsaw
PF: Randle/Bass/Kelly

Great front-court balance all around.

The same thing goes for Sanders. I don't that druggie any where near young players especially Upshaw

If he was still a drug addict and a headcase I highly doubt the Lakers would look to sign him. Rather you like it or not his defense is elite and his wingspan gives him the advantage to protect the paint at a high rate.

Not sure "druggie" is accurate. IIRC, his issues were anxiety and depression and he was using marijuana to medicate.

Twitter reporting that Dallas won't sign Larry Sanders. So that leaves the Lakers with the upper hand especially since Sanders is so close with Nick Young.

I don't see him signing anywhere especially since he has all the mentors he can get on the current Lakers roster.

For a team that desperately needs a center, it's weird that Dallas didn't take a chance. Something smells fishy.

The Mavs have Zaza/Dalembert/McGee what exactly is the sense in bringing in another C
To play with 3 Cs who are gonna want playing time?

2 of those dudes were literally Larry's backups, so...they'd probably want him because he's better. And McGee just sucks.

So from my understanding you think it makes sense for Dallas to have a 4-man C rotation? thats a lot of baggage. I don't see why Dallas would sign Sanders
Plus most Think the Mavs are gonna try to lose on purpose because there lottery pick is protected.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
