Hopefully these starters can get some heavy minutes seeing as this is the last chance to build chemistry before the beginning of the regular season.

None of the candy is my type, but it's nice to see some brown candy for variety.

Really hope we see regular rotations this game. That means none of this platooning crap, at least upper 20s in minutes for Russell, and no Sacre.

What would it mean for the mental state of the team if the Lakers win against the Warriors twice in the preseason?

Would show the league that the Lakers are serious about contending for a top 4 seed, no doubt.

Beating them at basically at full strength without Kobe will give the team a lot of confidence heading into the regular season... I think someone already compared this Lakers team to the Grizzles after the team beat Haifa so the team is starting to get some recognition.

I will be surprised if we can keep the game close today, Warriors are treating this like a regular season game.

Depends on what happens during the game of course. Sometimes guys like Nick Young and Lou Williams just hit every shot while the other team misses every shot and we will get a fluke win (happened last year against the Warriors). I'll be extremely impressed if we win a game where everything we do is consistently replicable.

Where is the pessimism coming from? Yes im dellusionally hoping that we make the playoffs and think we are able to stay competitive with anyone. Realistically, I think the playoffs are unlikely, but I do think that we can play with any team in the league competitively. Its consistency that will be our main problem with all our young linexperienced players. IMHO, keeping games close at any given game shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

I wasn't being pessimistic. I think we'll be competitive in most games, but I gotta give respect to the champions.

It would be nice to get some sort of regular rotation tonight. This play the first and 3rd quarter stuff sucks.

Hopefully. Scott did say after the shortened warriors game that he wanted to use the last 2 games to tighten the rotation. Unfortunately, some guys was supposed to play in the 4th and we needed last game to finalize the cuts.

Excited to see the actual roster. Less than week away from opening night.

Not that there was ever any real question that Huertas wouldn't make the team:
