Would like to see Randle get 30+ minutes and D.Russ play below the 3pt line. Get into the key and make things happen.

I don't mind Kobe guarding Prince, Prince isn't an offensive threat at all. I thought the TWolves were starting Lavine at 2 though?

I'm not worried about his shot at all. It's obviously there. He just needs confidence and time.

Mitchell said that was only written in pencil (most people left that part out), and after a few games it was obvious that we were overmatched with that lineup.

Last couple games of preseason, the starting five was Rubio/Wiggins/Prince/Garnett/Towns with LaVine/Martin/Muhammad/Bjelica/Dieng off the bench. Prince and Garnett don't play starter's minutes though, and will probably be capped at about 20 mpg, at most. In the last preseason game vs. Milwaukee, the crunch-time lineup had Muhammad in for Prince and Dieng replacing Garnett.

I think it's possible, but probably closer to 20.

Hey Klomp, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Wolves play really well in the season opener and get the win against the Lakers... The Wolves young talent seems to be building a lot of chemistry the last game it looked like Towns and Wiggins finally found there niche... I wouldn't be shocked if the Wolves win in the season opener.

Kobe's injury is starting to smelly fishy to me... contusion that is going to likely hold him out for 2+ weeks including a real game? Starting to feel like a fracture 6 week timeline.

Pek and Garnett will both be on minutes caps, so there's room for the 5th big to get solid PT, not to mention the games when either/both are out.

Kobe Bryant was a full participant in practice today and he was able to do everything physically. That obviously bodes well for the opener.

Jordan Clarkson (shoulder) also participated fully in practice. Expect him to start the opener.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the Lakers stay healthy for most of the season.. Luck needs to be on our side.

Jordan Clarkson told me he's definitely playing in the opener. Shoulder is maybe 90/95% but he's good to go, nothing to worry about.
