GT: 12/4 - LAL @ ATL - 5pm - TWC

After an inspirational win on Wednesday against the struggling and short handed Wizards, the Tinsel Town Circus has ceased operations it seems with clearly everyone looking towards getting back to quality team basketball. All we can do is hope for a few things to continue:

1. Kobe shoots over 40%
2. Randle earns a double double
3. Randle/Clarkson/Russell 45+ pts
4. Outrebound opponents (including high output on off rebs)
5. Force turnovers and turn into buckets

After getting beat Wednesday night to the Toronto Raptors at home, the Hawks will likely come out firing looking to make a statement. They got burned for 31 points by Kyle Lowry to hopefully our guards can feast on their backcourt as well.

This also gives those who don't get to see Horford play often, what he can bring to this team next season if he joined us, so there's that too going for this game

Eye Candy:

Spoiler:
For a max deal, likely what it'd require, 22.1m we can have this... (I think he's eligible for up to 22.1m max deal right?)

Beating 2 EC contenders would be a great sign.

I want us to finish around 10-12 wins before the end of the month we can't afford to tank it's just a waste of time and I'm sure you guys know that...

I'm glad to see you're in better spirits frozenicecubes, had me worried you were just a glass of water now.

Agreed though, i'd love to see us get back to this brand of basketball we're more than capable of playing, if that happens, I think we'll be racking up enough wins to maybe out do last season's output.

As for tanking being a waste though, it depends on how you see the poor performance. Is it a team purposely trying to lose games or is it a team desperately trying to win while seeking to develop an identity past kobe? to my friends i've been saying one word since the end of the off season: heartbreak, thats what this year will be all about, the heartbreak of watching a young team let wins slip right through their fingers so often many will want each of our young core traded over 100 times individually before the season is over.

Win or loss for the Wizards game, the team showed some fire and more trust, that was a good enough indicator that the Philly loss did what it should've done to a team, even Kobe did better tonight even though I still think 10/24 with 11 3pt shots is still a lot of shots.

I'm never optimist but being only 5 games back from the POs with 60+ would make me a hater anything can happen especially since the West isn't all that Impressive this season.. I'm just speaking the truth.

Korver is going to light us up if either Kobe or Clarkson is guarding him. He runs through screens a lot and those two suck at fighting through screens.

We`re not making playoffs dude....the more win we get the more chances byron has to stick around and we'd lose the pick...our picks are looking solid...we need that special swing man

The Hawks are up and down this year it seems. Interested in the Millsap/Randle battle.

Tanking is indeed a waste of time for several reasons:

The Lakers are not gonna attractive FAs by getting a top pick

There is to many mediocre teams this year that means chances are one of those mediocre teams will end up moving into the Top 3 meaning the Lakers wasted there time shooting for a top 3 pick instead of developing a winning culture and also developing the young players.

The Lakers have a better chance of attracting a superstar FA by making the Playoffs rather then aiming for a top 3 pick.

The Lakers can't afford to waste opportunities for the pro-tank crew... The Lakers need to start playing winning brand bball and if it doesn't work out with the current group other resources such as trades need to be done.

I can't freaking believe people are still talking about tanking even though winning games this year is a absolute must...

Come on guys I'm not a Laker jocker or a optimist but the reality is the Lakers still have a opportunity to make noise this season... The WC standings right now is completely unbalanced besides the Top 2 teams.

Is my posting accurate or are you guys gonna find reasons to argue ?

Lol you guys wanna win in hopes that we actually do have a solid chance at making the playoffs and lose our pick for ben simmons? Delusional

If we win because the young 3 is making us win, than fine.

I wonder when Kobe goes, If our Trio could all score 60+ points between them, kind like Shaq/Kobe but with 3 this time - if they can do this and we add Top FA who knows what could happen:)

Only dreaming atm - rumors say there keen to trade young core for all star type players so who knows what La lineup will be next year - Enjoying the Kobe run though:)

Out n about picking up chicks, all depends on weather during the day that is:)
