The Lakers always struggle against OKC.
Chalk this one up as a guaranteed loss.

2? That's pretty early. Always like the Westbrook/Clarkson matchup. Kobe vs. KD should be fun too

Man, if Russ and KD comes to LA.
Westbrook
Clarkson
Durant
Nance Jr.
Hibbert
Russell
SG
SF
Randle
C
Still doesn't look that competitive.

I bet Kobe plays D this game knowing his playing against KD - or he'll at least try harder on D lol

I've got pretty good seats for the game. Have a good feeling about this one. Can't remember the last time going to a game this early. Had to be back in the 80's when national televised games on Sunday started around noon.

You guys are going to be in for a grave disappointment waiting for KD to sign here.....it's not happening. I wish our fanbase sometimes wold just stop imagining these way out of world signings will happen, thinking like that shows a low level of acumen for the business, no sense of where these new age players mindsets are at and bottom line a sheer arrogance of still thinking the Lakers can just land these guys.

It just seems like players want to go where they have the best chance of winning, and right now that isn't the Lakers. I think getting Durant is possible if we acquire another big free agent without sacrificing D-Lo or Randle. And that's only going to be possible if we retain that #2 pick unfortunately.

I agree.
At the most realistic outcome we are likely gonna have to settle for Mid-tier players... Unless a game changing trade comes up.
Durant/Whiteside/Horford are pure pipe FA options and the Lakers will handicap the roster hinging there hopes on superstar FAs like Durant coming here.

Always something wrong with Kobes body... These sort of random injuries are gonna become more common as the season goes on.. At some point the Lakers will need to think hard about shutting him down.

Anthony Brown hasn't a chance against Durant.
