It's time to give Lou his due

During December. He's shooting 44% from 3 and overall he's probably shooting like 50% from the field since his slump early in the season.
I'm sure he's gonna be mentioned in a lot of trade scenarios .. or rumors but if he gets traded I hope he's not dumped on some team... He can diff be our true spark off the bench unlike Young.. once we create a formidable line up next summer.

Which team is stupid enough to trade for him? That's the question.

i actually agree, ill keep lou williams over nick young, and he would be a valid candidate for 6th man award if the team is constructed the right way.

Yeah. That's solely why I created this thread... But people whine about everything.

the bulls could use a bench scorer like williams. but im sure theres no pieces theyd want to give up that we'd want. maaaaybe gibson, with the emergence of portis. but theyd probably still want another piece from us

Id rather have nick young. I never liked small 2s like him. Nick young got the size and the range, just needed to be utilized properly i.e. get him some pindowns and staggers to free him up. Just dont let him create for **** sake.

So what happened to Lou last night? Having a bunch of solid games against terrible teams isn't anything to hang your hat on. I hope he keeps playing well and they trade him for a late protected 1st round pick. Detroit could use him.

I have no idea what happened to him last night... He's been real good shooting the ball... And for whatever reason he only shot 6 attempts.... And couldn't do anything on the floor... Could be just one of those games that players in the NBA have in a 82 game season... This thread was never about keeping Lou.. I would trade him if a good offer came up...

Why on earth is this guy starting?
It's amazing how the FO tries to preach that they're only willing to tie up long term money for superstars but each year we give another chucker who doesn't play a winning brand of basketball a stupid contract. Nick Young, and Lou Williams are now eating up nearly 12 million a year. The front office seems to scoff at the idea of signing a high caliber role player like Danny Green that kind of money.

Lou Williams is excruciating to watch.
He is the worst type of player for a team that has no shot at winning and should only be interested in developing young players. The ball stops when it's in his hands, and his go-to move is to try and draw contact. Russell, Randle, Clarkson etc are not benefiting one iota from sharing the court with him.

Flip Lou for the best deal you can
Doesn't have to be ASAP
Young needs to go ASAP

Now who is going to take those two off our hands?
