I have seen many outcomes of players playing through a sore throat rather it's baseball/ football or basketball I find it odd that Russell is pulling a big vagina move and not playing through illness..

Not sure, but he did show up to practice and was sent home by byron and staff

oh no not a sore throat? Is that really the reason? lol when I was in school playing (syd) I played through multiple injuries and yet a sore throat stops these Pro's

Maybe the guy has strep throat.

Not only that, but sore throats can be caused by viruses or bacterial infections. I suspect the fact it's a game against the best team, in the middle of a lottery season is likely to be the reason he's not playing as a precaution.

Young players are the ones who should be playing during the middle of a lost season to Improve there game.. And I also figured Russell would love to play against Curry especially since he watched game film of Curry to model his game...

I'm not gonna question it. Why have an opinion if not an informed one? In Gary Vitti I trust. It's not like we'd win this game with him anyway so no reason to get upset. Rookies hit the wall soon anyway. Can't hurt to give him a breather no matter why.

Is Kobe playing? As much as I appreciate getting to watch him for one last season, I've also enjoyed the way the ball moves better without him. That's the type of ball I happen to really like—the passing it around like a hot potato kind of hoops that always ends with a good shot attempt.

Not excited to see Huertas get a lot of burn tonight.

Kind of disappointed that Russell won't play having said that I don't mind tuning in to watch Curry.

A must lose game. Best season to tank for a guy like Ben Simmons.
