Next game Kobe sits, why not try this:

I would like to see this starting line-up in the next game that Kobe sits out:
PG-Russell
SG-Clarkson
SF-Randle (post up SF, fast break train)
PF-Bass (half stretch PF)
C-Black (it should hurt in the paint)
Why? They're our toughest and most resilient minded players. I see chemistry possibilities and cohesion with these players. They're all very physical and aggressor-minded. Plus, they'd be a handful to guard down low and in general.
Bass can step out and drain them from just inside the three with consistency, but also has a decent post game. Very physical. He can roam on offense and stretch or clog per needs. I'd prefer him taking more jumpers, because
Randle in the half court set, {{{"radical" idea warning}}}, should in my opinion be utilized in a strict offensive role as a deep-down-low post-up SF. Yes SF, nothing else. A PF body with quick enough feet. That's what I think he should be from now on. Good luck to them tweeners guarding him. Most PFs can't even handle his physicality down low let alone someone like Redick. Defense: rebounding and running the break like a bull! Go to town, beast!
Black Make the paint a physical and fiercely defended area where it hurts a bit. Set the tone for the team with tough defense. Offensively, set rock solid screens and hold them for about one more second.
The young bucks can go to town with this and they get to attack. There will be great off the ball movement around the perimeter with Bass and Clarkson, and with Russell. It'll be fun for them. That movement could open up clear paths for easy dimes to Black down low, and Randle, who'd be backing down opponent SFs (and getting them in foul trouble), like K Leonard, K Thompson, LBJ, etc. Is DeRozan or Barnes gonna stop him? He's a beast for anyone to deal with down low. Let him be it. Utilize his strengths, provide him with a scenario within which he can thrive. Playing him as an SF but at PF court positioning forces the opponent's hand, makes us the agressor in that their swing men now really have to become solid post defenders against Randle, without drawing fouls. Defensively, he's quick enough for SFs and therefore has an unusual size and strength advantage without the typical cost of quickness. Nothing lost, physical beast mis-match gained. Tell me why not to try this against every team. It makes us the aggressor as a team. Actual tactics. It gives us an identity. Something to believe in. That's what this team lacks to attract a Durant mega star. Plus, it would complement Durant next to SF Randle at PF positioning as Durant is PF size with SF quickness against same size PF. It's a nightmare combo to guard, even on switches.
Hibz off bench makes him perhaps a bit more competitive. He's more or less spent anyway and Lou can drop 40 off the bench on any given night so that's not a setback either. He'll get his minutes.
Russell has shown us that he can have 30 pt games this year. So has JC. And so has Randle. Let the next generation start to shine so we actually can attract players Durant.
And then let Luke or Brooks or Ollie take over but that's a different story...
Thoughts on this as our starting line up when Kobe sits next?
Thoughts on Randle at the three from now on for a while?
