The Official 2016 NBA Lottery Watch
We've secured the second worst spot in the league. So our odds are the following:
We keep the pick (Top 3): 55.8%
We get the first overall pick: 19.9%
We lose the pick (to Philly, if it falls to #4 or #5): 44.2%

I'm not gonna pull plugs.. But for health sake people should act like the Sixers already have the pick.. so there won't be any disappointment during lottery night.. I bet the Lakers have there FA board planned in case they lose the pick to Philly.

Re: The Official 2016 NBA Lottery Watch
I probably won't watch picks 14-4 because I will be sweating balls and am too much of a pu**y.
If I find out that we are in the top 3 via little Trudell's twitter page, then I will watch. If I read that it is conveyed, then I will throw my phone across the room and avoid realgm.

how much does it cost to 'motivate' Adam Silver to ensure we keep the pick?

Nah man, no conspiracies here if we keep the pick. Let's see if we can buck the trend of the number 2 dropping out of the top 3.

Have to keep it first... And if we keep it, the probability seems to be we'll be in the top 2... If that's the case, there's no reason to trade it. Simmons or Ingram are keepers.
If however we fall to 3, I'd be all over trading down.
But nobody other than Philly is going to trade with us until they know we keep the pick.

I agree. If we fall to #3 I would try to trade it along with #32 and N.Young to Denver for #10 (assuming they don't jump up to the top 2), #15 and J.Lauvergne. At #10 I would take Deyonta Davis and at #15 I would take Taurean Prince.

I really like Prince man, i wish we could come up on a 1st rd pick just to get him. I think he could help us immediately as he's leaving as a four year college plyr

Re: The Official 2016 NBA Lottery Watch
I've thought about us losing the pick and I can't say ill be as mad as i once was. If we do then cool, if we convey it then fine. To me its more important to hire the right coach and fill positions of need (SF, C) with plyrs who can bring some defensive presence for us. Keeping the pick would be gravy imo then again maybe i go ape **** may 17th anyway

The NBA still owes the Lakers a favour. Never forget the vetoed CP3 trade. If we keep our pick, we are in peace with the NBA.

If we keep the pick and fell to number 3, I think they should trade it. If its 1 or 2, keep it and get Ingram if we win the lottery.

Re: The Official 2016 NBA Lottery Watch
If we fall to number 3 we should trade the pick to a team with multiple picks in the draft.
Phoenix has the #4,13 and 28th picks
Denver has the #7, 15 and 19th picks
Toronto has #9 and #27
Assuming Boston gets bumped out of the top 3 they would have #4/5, 16 and 23
Then I'd flip some of the later picks for future picks. I haven't even mentioned the multiple second round picks that all these teams have. Lakers have an immense opportunity to position themselves moving forward if they're smart here.

This is already a weak draft, trading down makes absolutely no sense when the talent level degrades fast by each pick.
