Who got into fights at clubs with random guys like us, plays minimal defense and posted one of the most empty 17 points/7 rebound stat-lines in the history of the game to this date.
Gave up 1.02 Points Per Possession - in perspective he would have been the Lakers worst post defender, sans including Sacre.

I like Biyombo to come off the bench. He is just the right player to provide that spark and his defensive presence is great !

I thought he was talking about Myles Turner.

Julius Randle may end up being our center... Luke what Kerr & Walton did with Green... Randle is 3 inches taller than Green...

Green can effectively defend three positions, Randle struggles to defend one.

And his wing span is like 1000 millimeters smaller

1000 millimeters is almost 40" Draymond only has him by 1"1/4.

seeing ed davis' success with portland is a bit heart-breaking as a lakers fan. especially given his contract. would have been an ideal bench big.
Biyombo is earning himself a decent contract with his PO performances. dont see too many teams wih him on their starting radar. so he'll be an option for the lakers.
whitesides name will be attached to us from now until he sign somewhere.
mahinmi should get some consideration. but hes a lesser ezili. but probalby a cheaper ezili, as well
mozgov, when healthy, serves his role. and could be a decent stop-gap piece for the time being.
bender at 3? if that pick isnt traded
and lastly, reach out to larry sanders people. find out where his head is at and if hes ready to make his NBA come back (im positive hes not done for good)

Randle averaged a double double in essentially, his first season... He obviously isn't Green but I am sure his numbers were better than Green his rookie season... Luke's system will allow these players to flourish...

My current list if all FAs were available today.
Whiteside - to try to lure Durant by showing bank is open, that the Lakers are all in and on the way to more banners.
Horford
Biyombo
Mahinmi
Ezeli
Veterans:
Noah
P Gasol
Pipe dream via trade:
M Gasol
A Davis

Two Serious Questions: (1) Do you think signing Whiteside exponentially increases the Lakers odds of nabbing Durant? and (2) Are you cool with Whiteside here even if Durant doesn't sign?

Whiteside is ideal, but yeah i'd have Biyombo as the backup plan if we fail to get Whiteside (seeing Ezeli would cost too much given he has barely ever started on a regular basis), and honestly Biyombo would probably come here if we wanted him, he is only 23 (well 24 by next season) and would fit with the young core we have
Start of next season:
Biyombo (24) - Randle (21) - Simmons (20) - Russell (20) - Clarkson (24)
Average Age: 21.8
that is an insanely young starting lineup. surround them by glue guys and leaders on the bench and i think we would be set for years to come

Biyombo / Ezeli been on my mind for the C position for the future since about December..
Joakim Noah is an interesting idea though, but he'd prolly want to go to a team where he could contend, or just stay put in Chi.
Horford is not leaving ATL imo

Are there any small ball type centers we can use or 2nd rd pick on?
