And we STILL wouldnt sniff a trade for our #2 pick. lol

I mean....God bless the idea. I'd certainly love it. But I doubt we could get a trade with our entire squad for Irving.

anyway interesting that Philly went with Ingram 1, that must have been a close call.

Anyway Simmons at 2 because it means we get a 3rd ball handler (along with Russell and Clarkson) and a guy Walton can work with and make into a truly transcendent talent, i am sure Simmons would be thrilled also to get his endorsement deal sorted

Clarkson-Russell-Simmons-Randle core with a center getting signed in F.A and that is probably the best young core after Minnesota and Milwaukee going into next season

Ben Simmons. Can you imagine him grabbing a rebound and initiating a fastbreak with Russell on one side and Clarkson on the other? Or just how terrifying a lineup of Russell-Clarkson-Simmons-Randle-Nance would be in the open court (and how bad it would be in the half-court)?

people said clarkson wouldn't play as well as he did last year because he won't be the main ball handler anymore. well, he still played just as well, if not not better, considering also that he was the most consistent player on the roster all year long.

i would have picked ingram, but having said what i said about clarkson. i believe simmons will still work out well. i pick simmons.
