Sean Rooks has passed away

Just seeing this popping up but it looks like former Laker, Sean Rooks has passed away.. He was 46

This is terrible news, he was fired just last month as an assistant coach by the Sixers.

Not fired, his contract was up and he wasn't retained. He was going to coach the Hornets' D-League team.

Reading he also had interviewed with the Knicks for one of the assistant jobs several hours earlier

What happened? I still vividly remember Sean Rooks on those massively stacked Arizona squads with Fairfax High grad Chris Mills, Brian Williams (later Bison Dele), Khalid Reeves, and others. Damn shame. 46 is too damn young, especially for a heart attack, if that's what it was.
