Free Agent Thread II: The time is now... or later or else

Free Agency is here! As we pray for big fish Mitch is shrewdly doing what Mitch does, or possibly he's walking around with Jim in a baby bjorn.

Early news is the incredible unbelievable amazing move of getting Timofey Mozgov... who if nothing else, you can say his first name with a cockney accent.

this must be discussed

I guess Im the only one that think the deal isnt that bad. I pretty much envision him doing what bogut does, set screens, rebound, block shots.

My exact thoughts, this can't be followed by pure re-signings of our own players

Pls Moe Harkless
2014: Randle / Clarkson
2015: Russell / Nance
2016: Ingram / Zubac
2017: Top 3 Pick? Fultz, Ball or Bust

...

...

Man i dunno wtf to say. This contract is horrendous, paying 16.25 mil a year to a limited backup who barely played. Now if Mozgov was the one leading the charge in the comeback vs GSW and smashing them to bits inside i could understand a bit more... but man, wtf. I'm pretty sure that 4th year is a Team Option to try to maintain some future flexibility.

I mean... right?

You're not the only one, 16M a year is roughly 12M a year under the previous CBA which is probably lower than the average for a starting C.

I don't mind Mozgov but hate that it's a four year deal.

thats only one side of the ball, bogut is also a great passer and a good finisher. mozgov is a ball stopper, cuz he doesn't know how to pass, and a mediocre finisher cuz he can't catch the ball.

In the last few years, Mitch has signed Nick Young, Lou Williams and Timofey Mozgov. It's time for Mitch to go.

at least nick young and lou will were not disgusting contracts, they were reasonable and they haven't hurt us at all. this is a gross offer though.
