Just sounds like cap space with the Bulls signing Wade.

Doubt we gave up much since it's a cap clearing move and we got tons of room to absorb a contract

Dude is still efficient. Plus he's expiring. We needed a vet PG. Deal makes a lot of sense, glad we're not just letting next year's max slot space go wasted.

Solid move. Brings Huertas' passing but with a 3-point shot. I wish Huertas well at whatever his next stop is.

Have to imagine we rescind Huertes's QO now.

Seems like just a couple years ago Luol Deng and Jose Calderon are players Laker fans wanted on there team.

Solid vet, doesn't play any D but he won't be getting major burn.

Any chance gaining an asset in this salary dump? Like Lakers send a 2nd and Bulls send a 1st.

Right. Expiring contract with 7.7 million salary due this year. 34 year old vet who averaged 7.6 points, 4 assists. Good pick up for us.
