OT - Attention College Football and NFL fans

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Thu Aug 18, 2016 6:19 pm

Being that the NBA is dead this time of the year I thought some of you might be interested in this.

We are once again running a contest of picking NFL games against the spread to see if you can get more correct picks than Howard Mass and the rest of the REALGM community.

It's quick and easy to play.

If you're interested in participating, please read more here: viewtopic.php?f=139&t=1472442

Considering the Laker board hasn't been flooded with new Laker fans, am confidently happy that he doesn't. :D

I too am happy about this. I was scared that we'd have a Lin 2.0 situation :(

Just thought I'd let you know that we have college football game day threads going on in the NCAA football forums. Here is a link.. viewforum.php?f=142

And for NFL Week 1, viewtopic.php?f=139&t=1475380

Stop by and chime in if you're watching as we are trying to build the football forums. Thanks!

I'm a Vikings fan, and a Mississippi State fan. This season has not gotten off to a great start (I miss Dak Prescott, and will miss Teddy Bridgewater after watching Sam "I got traded for a first rounder despite being a trash QB for my entire career" Bradford do his best CP7 impression by throwing nothing but inaccurate 4 yard passes to covered receivers.)

I pull for the Vikings too...sucked so bad when that FG was missed last year...I'm a primary Chargers fan and then Cardinals but I like the Vikings and lived in Minnesota for awhile.

Did you join Beat the Commish (NFL Picks competition with link below)? If not, you should.

I thought they should have just signed Michael Vick, to be honest. And I know that may seem ridiculous, but at least he'd be a threat and take a guy or two out of the box so Peterson could be more successful. They also could have kept their 1st round pick and their 4th round pick.

That move screams to me that they think Bridgewater's injury is more severe than thought.

Oh goodness I hope that this isn't true.
