Randle ...easily

Either for Nance, or to make room for Ingram, while going small with Deng at the 4

Deng is not getting benched, sorry..

I'm guessing it is which starter gets demoted first? If that's the case then it is likely to be Randle. Especially when there is incentive to play Deng at the 4 on top of what he is being paid.

I bet Mozgov will at some point simply because he'll eventually get hurt.

Unless Mozgov gets hurt, its probably between Deng and Randle to open up minutes for Ingram depending on how Ingram looks and how much Randle has addressed his issues.

Depends.

If we suck and go indirect tank, both Deng and Mozgov could be shut down for Zubac and Ingram...

I could see randle sitting behind nance if Randle's shooting woes continue and Nance can shoot 33% from 3. Spacing is a big deal and randle would be allowed to run his bully ball game against 2nd units and not mess up ball movement for the starting unit. I think he could really punish 2nd units.

I think Nance takes Randles starting spot by the all star week. I just don't think one summer is long enough to address all of Randle's shortcomings. It's going to take a few years.

I voted Deng because Ingram has the highest probability of becoming a future starter, and I think the Deng signing didn't really envision him as a long term starter t but an iguodala type bench guy that will still get minutes due to his ability to play multiple positions.

That said, I almost voted Randle which at the time I thought would be an unpopular opinion. Apparently, it isn't. All the things said about Randle is valid. He had major flaws in his game in Season 1. His starting spot can be taken over by Deng or taken over Nance. It can arguably even be taken over by Yi or Black. So it is correct that he has the toughest odds in keeping his spot... If he even gets it to begin the season.

Note that Luke did say that he hasn't penciled anyone as starters yet. So Deng or even Randle might not even start the season if they are outplayed during camp and preseason.

Deng. I don't see Randle getting benched. If Deng starts at PF eventually, Randle will slide to C and Mosgov will come off the bench.

I don't think Randle would make a good C.

Luol Deng.

Randle is the better player than Nance. by the end of the season you guys will see how right i was.

I also agree with this. Randle has the ability and the mindset to be a star. Nance will always be a really solid glue guy. Randle's ability to rebound, push the ball and be a playmaker doesn't come around often. If he adds the threat of knocking down a mid-range jump shot, he'll be a career 16-20 PPG, 11-13 RPG, 3-4 APG type of player.

By the end of the season, you will crawl back to your cave and never get out again, when Randle is demoted to a bench role, because his skills and play style doesn't mesh AT ALL with the other personnel we have

Russell/Clarkson/Ingram/Deng/Mozgov will start after a couple of months, and the lineup who makes sense the most, BY FAR, and I'd argue it's gonna be our best lineup on the floor judging the future metrics...and who should finish the game, is:

Russell/Clarkson/Ingram/Deng/Nance

Randle anchoring our D is a recipe for disaster.
