Randle...
Honestly, I can see both Randle and Jordan Clarkson being traded within the next 2 seasons...

Re: T-26: Which member of the young core will get traded first?
most likely?
either randle, black, clarkson, or zubac to a certain degree
randle and clarkson proves to be a valuable contributor in this league and can produce good numbers with alot of upside, whereas black projected to be (if not already is) an energy guy that defend and roll hard to the basket with limited upside. and zubac? from the SL footage he got lotsss of upside to be a two-way monster but havent play any game in NBA so cant say much.
all in all, anything is possible for mitch's magic wand if opportunity shows itself. though imo russell is the least likely youngster to be traded on this team

This is pretty hard to predict because the only youngsters that we have who might be coveted by other teams are Russell and Ingram. Clarkson and Randle might be attractive but they won't bring back much in value that is worth giving up on them and Black on a one year deal is not going to fetch anything but a 2nd round pick.

Re: T-26: Which member of the young core will get traded first?
I went with Russell and I could see it happening at the end of the year.
Ingram isn't an option in the poll (EDIT- Yes he is, I'm ill and haven't had coffee) and I would think he would be virtually untradeable for year or two anyways. It would be really hard to find a Randle trade, IMO. If you're giving him up, you're not getting anywhere near to the value back. I'm sure he could be traded for a Top 5-10 pick, but I don't see the Lakers acquiring more youth.
And yes, Black could be traded, but I don't consider him part of the "young core." I say: Ingram, Russell, Randle, Nance Jr, Clarkson, Zubac as the "young core."
Which leads me to Russell or Clarkson. I don't think Clarkson brings back better value then him playing. Now, if Russell shows improvement, which I think everybody thinks he will, then I think we could potentially land a big time superstar by dangling him as trade bait. If Indiana flames out one more year, I could absolutely see them cutting ties with Paul George, considering he'll be a free agent in 2 years.

Black is more likely to be let go than traded eventually, so i would not go with him. I personally don't see any of these guys being traded. If i had to make a guess, possibly Clarkson or Randle at the end of the year.
Russell and Ingram are about as safe as it gets unless someone comes up with a ridiculous offer for them.

Lakers Value is Russell, Ingram, Nance, Clarkson than Randle... Russell & Ingram aren't going anywhere anytime soon... Clarkson & Randle could be traded for the RIGHT DEAL... Nance is only making a little over a million so won't generate anything...

Woah... This question got me. I know it's just a question, and it's inevitable that one or more gets traded... But my first thought was "I don't want to lose any of them!". Sadly, it's inevitable tho.
I know that doesn't answer the question, just thought I'd share what was there for me lol.

Talking about how bad Julius Randle is:

Re: T-26: Which member of the young core will get traded first?
Great question.
Zubac impressed in summer league but he's still going to need a few years to determine if we should keep him or not.
Black on the otherhand.. eh.. he has some nice moments here and there, but his basketball IQ is not very good. Not sure if i would consider him a "core" member but i'd say he's movable.
Out of all the other guys, i would think Clarkson would be the first to go. Randle has great potential and has the framework to become the new "big man" player in this new style of play in the league. He was 15th overall in double doubles as a 6'7 ROOKIE
Clarkson is my favorite player on the team, but his skill level can or at least should be able to be replaced somewhat easily.

its amazing how nobody thinks Ingram will be the first to go. I think he will be the first to go because I get the vibe this is not his place of choice. The rest of the young core are excited to be Lakers.

He looked dopey at Duke too. That's his resting face.

Re: T-26: Which member of the young core will get traded first?
Julius Randle. I think he has talent but he just doesn't have anything he does at an NBA level outside of rebounding that looks promising. He's going to have to get some type of jump shot going to be able to open up his inside game. Has good perimeter defense potential as well.
