Your DreamTeam for the Lakers (2017-18 edition)

I think this season will be a long season with a steep learning curve for us.

Hopefully, with Luke onboard and a system in placed, Mitch can cut/trade the young core that do not fit on our team.

FREE AGENCY 2017: I would hope we can sign 2 good Free agents next summer. One being Gordon Hayward. He is a perfect fit for Luke's offense and is in his prime. Option 2 and 3 would be Gallinari or Reddick. Next, is to sign a big man to a short deal, ala Milsap/Ibaka.

Trade JC, Randle and Mozgov for Cousins and/or Skals.

Beg of 2017-18 season

Russ/Lou Will
Gordon/Fultz/Allen
Deng/Gordon
Ibaka/Ingram
Cousins/Nance/Zubac

So,by end of 17-18 season

Russ/Lou Will
Fultz/Allen
Hayward/Deng/Nance
Ingram/Deng/Skals
Cousins/Ibaka/Nance/Zubac

Now, we have a long team with great defensive and shooting ability. Good mix of young kids and vets. Exceptional passing ability and all good fits for Luke.

Lets sign Noel. We need a young center. Zubac will be good. But lets have 2 young guys.

NOOOOOOO just NOOOOOOO. Why is everyone high on trading JC? JC is the next KB for this team and his going to shock everyone this year. Lakers aren't trading any of their young core this year, unless it's for a top player (multiplayer and possible team trades) and I don't see that happening.

It's becoming increasingly clear you know nothing about the players on the Lakers other than a media-driven understanding of Russell...

You never watch the Lakers then.

Post ? You can give the ball to Zubac, Russell, and Randle in the post. Ingram too once his body ready.

We draft freaking Ingram and his biggest asset beside his physical tools is his shooting ability. Zubac and Clarkson can shoot some threes too, and Randle expected to be adequate shooter.

Slashing its JC and Randle. Its huge part of Randle's game and you failed to notice that.

Length you got it right. You dont need all of your players have freak meassurement. Players like Vonleh exist too.

Lottery ? I dont know, but by 2018 they should play better. Its common sense right ?

Zubac played how many games for us? RANDLE REALLY??? A post player? In what world.

Ingram shot 25 percent in Summer League (3s) and 41 percent (2fgs). Ingram biggest asset is his length and versatility. However, his potential mainly will be reach if he fills out body wise. Also, no one expects Randle to be an adequate shooter.

Randle's game is iso and throwing the ball up praying it goes in. He has one move, the spin. You would think having Kobe all these years people would actually know what a good post game is...

Randle has had the same exact weaknesses since he was a blue chip prospect in HS.

If you like nothing about anyone on the Lakers, why are you even bothering to post on a Lakers board?

Whatever.

I cant take anyone seriously who think Ingram is a bad shooter (and has courage to put up SL league stats to prove it).

Actually, never said Ingram was a bad shooter. However, Ingram isn't qualified to be consider in the shooting category after his dismal performance shooting wise in the summer league. In addition, to playing primarily as a stretch four in college

you are not qualified to say he can't shoot. Russell shots .118% in his first SL. So he can't shoot too ?

Ingram shots 40% in college. thats good enough for me. Stop it.

Russell also played one season in the NBA... AND EVERYONE HERE ACtually watched Russell played, unlike Ingram, where I bet you never saw him at Duke, since everyone here thinks he played the 3 in college.

And we talk about 2018 right ?? THATS YOUR **** POINT IN OPENING POST. If i use your genius logic, Cousins will suffer career ending injury then, Fultz will be a bust in college, Its revealed that Ibaka is a 50 years old dude by then etc etc

(Its ironic you mention about Fultz, a highschool player but undermining Ingram)
