Russell Most Improved Player

But IMO that award shouldn't be given to a sophomore player, judging his jump from his rookie year

And if the judging panel think the same, it's Dennis Schroder's award to lose all the way

If will start the game or with a lot of playing time, I say Ingram has the chance for the ROY.

I don't see how anyone beats out SImmons, unless he gets injured.

I believe Ingram will get 22-25mpg against second string players which will help him match up well against them and if he utilize that he can win ROY

when teams start giving him space and pack the paint in on his drive, I bet he wont get the all the votes.

Even without space, Simmons will probably handle the rock the most on the 76ers and put up stats, while the other guys are more than likely nonstarters...

Ingram, Brown, and Dunn...

Simmons is ideally in the best situation to put up numbers out of all the lottery picks imo

Good point. Embiid, if healthy might take votes since he is still considered a rookie this season. However, I think the 76ers will take a long and cautious approach to Embiid potentially

Hard to win Roy if you shoot in the 30 % range which wouldnt be totally out of realm of possibilities, since he already did that in summer league and that was barely shooting from the perimoter as well. He wont score a ton either as he likes to pass more than scoring, i see this yr roy being somone not picked in the top 5

Best chance is Ingram, Rookie of the Year. That would have been my vote.

It depends on the league. If they NEED the Lakers to keep the $$ coming in then we could get some of the youngsters hyped up by the league and who knows... one of them may win an award.

Right now I don't see any of them doing it. Ingram seems destined for a slow ramp up at this level which doesn't bode well for ROY. Don't see Russell improving that much... we'd have to make the playoffs to get Walton a COY award. Maybe Yi is comeback player or something if he can get 12 and 6....
