Jordan Clarkson. I base it on nothing....I totally admit. I had to pick a name out of that hat, and I'll go with that.

We've been used to our single leading scorer system for so long, that it's hard to imagine any other way....but I have a feeling we're going to see alot of different guys on different nights. You'll prob see Russell, and Clarkson's name quite often..but I think it will be spread around alot.

We'll see. Honestly, Im pretty excited to see the team. We did some things I liked this offseason..some stuff I didn't like at all. I don't pretend to 'know' either way what this coach is gonna be like. Oh wow....they love the new system, and the new coach. Prob only the 3rd or 4th team to ever say that, right??? Yeah...I just gotta wait and see. It's preseason, but it's Lakers, so I'm excited. Hope Luke works out, and turns out to be great. I dig the quick move the ball style...so I definitely WANT the damn thing to work.

Two things.

1. How do you add pictures to threads? < yeh not a noob, but inexperienced at that - so I guess noob at that < we all start somewhere

2. Holy crap it's pre-season already??? Does League pass have Pre-season games? might have to sign up again.

I'm going with Clarkson as leading scorer and my "boy Lou" for leading the bench. I got "my boy lou" from old school I think it was?

Queens have a pretty intriguing team on paper, especially if Ty Lawson can get back to his old ways. Good test for a young Laker squad to kick off the new season.

I must have not been paying attention at all this offseason because when did the Kings roster become that monstrosity.

Kings' roster looks so blah.

The march begins...We'll take this one because the guys are so fired up to play, not saying the Kings aren't just as fired up but you can just sense it with our guys.

Props to my boy moonpie for drop'in the Fredia Pinto pics....nothing like what we'll get into later in the season but you can never go wrong with a pretty face.

Excited for this game! I want to see a good amount of playing time for our young players.

Also on a side note, I recently found this video. It's a workout from a while ago but I know us basketball fans are starving for anything basketball related. I especially like how this workout is filmed with little cuts in it so we can see both the makes and misses. It bothers me watching workout videos where they edit out all the misses... Please enjoy:

What is interesting is the fact our starting five > better than Sacramentos squad... Russell, Clarkaon & Deng have advantages...

The Kings lineup looks wrong. Casspi will start above Barnes if the team goes with two 3/4s (which I think they will). McLemore 'possibly' over Afflalo

Gotta imagine Clarkson at SG is a safe bet too. Only real battles if one even exists was Deng/Ingram/Randle/Nance for the forward spots

Unless they're planning on limiting the minutes of the veterans (i.e. Mozgov and Deng), why wouldn't Luke go with our "standard" starting lineup? If nothing else, it'll build some cohesion with the unit.

But that's assuming Luke already has a "standard" starting lineup. As mentioned, there may still be ongoing battles for the forward spots between Deng/Ingram and Randle/Nance. At least those seem to be most probable battles.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't Walton already essentially said that Deng would be starting at SF? Unless you believe that was just lipspeak to try and motivate Ingram (which I wouldn't think it is), I think you'd have to operate under the assumption that the only "open" starting position would be PF.
