I assume the emotions are going about like this:
First maybe a little flattered... Then go home, take a hot shower, and crawl into bed with the lights on and the covers over your head?
That's about like Ron Jeremy hitting on your girl, only I don't think Ron Jeremy ever dressed in drag or tried to be friends with North Korea.

No flattery just straight comedy. We were getting gas and he was getting a foot long at a gas station subway. Out of nowhere he tells my girl that he is with his daughter and introduced himself and the girl he was with was pissed. It was hilarious.

It's one of those stories that there's almost nothing you can say... It's so on character that as unbelievable as it is, it's believable.
Gas station Subway makes me think HighAF...

i had dinner right next to him in SB around 2000 and was telling my lady it was him all quiet, but she was clueless and blurted out "that isn't Dennis Rodman, he'd have a better looking lady". He heard her, took off his fishing hat, and shot her one of the funniest wtf looks I've ever seen.

Is there a more annoying category of person than those who self-identify as 'woke?'
And as a follow-on to that question... Is it just me, or are people who call themselves 'woke' generally wrong about... Pretty much everything?

Any self proclamations just about decreases a person's credibility from low to null
In other news, this COVID19 is really starting to cause some paranoias for me. Being extra careful though. First time traveling again and going to an airport after this news broke

I'd prefer to be around "seeking continuous growth and understanding" than people that are confident they have become enlightened and shut down their ears. aka yeah they are cocky a-holes

Also getting a cold has now made people pariahs. It's too bad this administration has it's head so far up it's ass that testing isn't widespread and cheap. If that were to rapidly happen, more of the economy might be able to make a recovery.

The market isn't caring one bit about who and where the virus is. The story isn't living up to the reality. Local economies are being driven by social media and 24hr news hysteria in an election year.
OTOH what the market is watching is where the ships are. Most of the worlds ships are at sea because the major harbors are disrupted/closed or otherwise F'd up in Asia. The virus will pass in a month or two but when 1/2 to 2/3 of the ship are in the wrong place even after production comes back on line it's going to be a pretty big issue. Production isn't the primary issue when the supply chain is messed up. If you want a "government" to blame then look no further than China. Nothing is believable coming out of there. Many major harbors in Asia haven't believed a word they've said and just stopped until they can verify.

The Japanese bow or tbe Indian namaste will do well. Cultural appropriation is not the biggest hazard at this time.

Got turned around at the workplace and asked to work from home. I really hope the supermarket shelves haven't been cleaned out.

It's madness. We've got only 30 cases but every gathering over 100 people has been canceled/postponed up until the 31st of March at the earliest.
Sports, cultural events, schools, universities, churches. Everything.
We have a large community abroad, especially in the countries hit the worst by the bug(Italy, Germany, Spain). A lot of them are trying to get home but they're automatically quarantined upon entering the country. It's chaos at the customs. If you don't oblige, it's a hefty fine at the very least, but most likely jail time.
