Just gave up the "consulting" gig and took a new position in a recent start up who is providing Blockchain solutions to a number of clients both public and private. Will be moving closer to LA again.... this time it's the valley of the sun! My family has had a place there for years that we go to often so it's not completely new. Not going to say I'm going to miss the DC area. This place has been getting nuts.

When I moved to Copenhagen my intention was to stay a year or two and find a job either in NY or Seattle but now I signed a 2 year extension on my contract and lease here.

Having traveled extensively over the years I'd say the reports of America's demise are greatly exaggerated. It's a mix of different areas and subcultures for sure but diversity is a good thing. I grew up in the deep south (Atlanta), lived for 20+ years in LA, worked in Chi-town, Boston, NYC and DC. Now on to Phoenix. Each has it's own unique culture. Politics is dividing us.... not the people or the locations. I've loved the people in every part of the country I've lived in.

I'm in racing and a friend sent me this today... for fans of old race cars this is an amazing find and restoration of an older (1980s) Porsche 962... there's a link on the first post that links to the discovery and research done pre purchase then the actual restoration of the car. Lot's of pics
