2018 free agency keeps getting better. Noel now a free agent next summer after signing qualifying offer.

Not a great time to be a shot blocker. Great time to be a wing defender though.

This stalled CLE-BOS trade is an example of when 2 slime Ball organizations deal with each othe, each trying somehow to stick it to each other in turn.

I'm so happy this trade is falling apart. Dan Gilbert deserved every bit of it. As for Ainge, well he's a Celtic, so **** the Celtics.

Solomon Hill out for the season. Come on New Orleans, get Clarkson and Deng and make that playoff push, I know you want it.

Not sure of the trade rules for a QO player, but could LA try and use Clarkson to obtain Noel this season so they'd have his rights. The cap hold has to be way less than Clarkson's salary I imagine?
If Dallas doesn't need Clarkson (although I only see them with broken-Mathews and the lesser-Curry at SG on the depth chart, so maybe?) Or Clarkson to a 3rd team, someone needing a scoring G / 6th man and less concerned about the payroll, for an asset that Mavs would want?

I think the Mavs would rather have Noel or the cap space.

I don't get to see Noel play a lot but the rumor is he's a defensive minded big. That being said, I'd love to add him to Ingram and lonzo.

Nerlens isn't very good. If he was Dallas would have offered significantly more $$$.

2005, Chris Paul gets drafted by New Orleans, Hurricane Katrina.
2017, Chris Paul moves to Houston, Hurricane Harvey.
You got lucky LA.
I hope none of the Florida teams acquire him, the next one might wipe them out.

Haha. Cavs are demanding the Celts give them Marcus Banks.

Are you saying both hurricanes happened for basketball reasons? I knew it, god is a Lakers fan.

CLE can demand some more assets. It will be interesting to see how this pans out but CLE may have a slight upper hand: They have the key marquee piece in this deal in Kyrie.
They can always trade him to someone else. They may not get as much as BOS has offered, but they can wait it out a bit more because Kyrie is still definitely tradeable.
If your BOS, how in the heck are you going to trade IT to another team with his hip issues now so much more of a concern and the brinks truck comments? He has almost become untradeable.
I think BOS may need to give up a bit more for this to go through.

I especially loved the Bucks negotiating for Kyrie through Lowe.

They offered him 70 mil over 4 years and he turned it down.
