I like it. We give some young guys some run, helping the tank.

It's an odd trade in a vacuum... You wonder if it's part of a larger deal.
He's young and seems talented, but kind of unnecessary. Just keeping Huertas would have been fine for us.

Give a young guy a tryout. I don't mind it.

Ennis is better than Huertas and having Huertas on the roster with Calderon has always been too repetitive, so good trade (again).

Thanks again to Huertas and Nance for making this team partially watchable last year.

Well.... he's young and hasn't been given much of an opportunity, so maybe he'll pan out. Maybe he'll flame out. Regardless, he has a better potential ceiling than Huertas. This doesn't really make a lot of sense for the Rockets, though. Just basically gave us a former 1st round, #18th pick. They must really want that cap space badly.

We probably should've never signed Huertas in the first place. Especially since we already had Calderon. Huertas is great for the occasional highlight but he's not an NBA caliber player.
At least this way we get a good look at Ennis before moving on from that whole situation.

He should have some pretty good success running the second unit where he has more willing scorers like Zubac and Clarkson to play off.

leaning towards liking this acquisition. at least now we have a mediocre backup.

I hope so...
I've never seen him play, can someone verify this...

He will totally ignore a wide open elite three point shooter and drive to the basket and turn the ball over.
Every.
Single.
Time.
If so, he's basically Clarkson, without the finish.

That post is quite inaccurate. His real saving grace is being pass first with decent vision and low turnover ratios.
