Sorry Larry! I'll package Deng with you and then send Randle + Mozgov to Brooklyn.

Has Larry Nance Jr. improved in anything since last season?

Yeah he's taking the 15-20 footers fearlessly and went from 10% 3pt to 25%, which is a start
His D is subtly better, he doubled his assists, FT% is up a bit

I'd say he's set himself up for a much better shooting year next year, but...

if we could ditch Deng's contract, and grab our first back should we drop out of top 3 this year, I would totally do it.

Too bad aging russian center isn't on that board.

I'm a Larry fan too people but seriously if trading him gets rid of Deng and opens up the flood gates to add someone next to Paul George in a free agency pitch to him we need to do that deal asap.

man, idk. maybe if it meant ensuring us cap flexibility to have a god-level offseason then ok. I really like Larry too.

No need to trade anyone to open up cap space right now. When the time comes, we (Pelinda) can get creative and possibly ship draft picks, stretch contracts or/and trade away borderline talent to make the trades/numbers work.

After next year and before the summer of 2018, we will have only a 2 years left for Moz and Deng. A little better able to trade those pieces. The contracts will be more favorable because every year the cap space increases. Still those ugly contracts should have been a TO on the 4th year. What were Mitch and Jim thinking?

My ideas are prospering.

GM Waffles is coming true

Clarkson + Deng to the Magic for Henoja (he's trash but he's cheap trash)

Randle + Mozgov + Rockets 1st for Joe Harris (waive him)

Cap space for Cousins and PG in 2018 = AVAILABLE

We can't be having threads for every player... trade thread?

Secondly...waffles, how does Orlando take on so much salary and give such little back. (FYI c j Watson is only guaranteed 1 mil. Next year)

I have the same question. Something like a 10% increase in 3's would be something I may not even notice. Overall....It feels like we still have the same guy. Little more sure...been around the block now. But any legit growth?? I couldn't tell.

I like Nance. But I maintain he's a bench spark guy. He's that nice piece you add to an already strong team. We are far from that. If he is really a coveted piece by Orlando...and it get's Deng off the books...then by all means.

I will believe it when I see it though. Sounds too good to be true

Have to remember Nance isn't like Ingram, Russell and Randle... He's already 24 years old and had all that extra college time to develop. He's not figuring out who he is, he is who he's always going to be...
So we may see some improved shooting year over year, but I think expectations should be realistic about what he 'turns into'...

Honestly, I doubt his trade value will ever be higher than it is today, while there's still a little mystique left about him.

Nance is one of the few positive defenders on our team along with Brewer and may be Mozgov in the right defensive scheme. I'd loathe to give him up easily and look for ways to make him the starting pf.

Honestly, getting rid of Deng/Mozgov contracts needs to be a priority for this team. I don't see Randle becoming an all-star in any sort of matter so I say ship him with with either Deng or Mozgov. Nance is more valuable in my eyes.

People need to stop acting like Randle is garbage. Yeah he's never going to be a superstar but he's improved in almost every category this year outside of rebounding which he's still very good at.

Honestly, I don't think Nance can handle starters minutes without getting himself injured.
