Byron Scott feels betrayed by the Lakers old front office

I know he's part of the Lakers family, but he's one of the worst coaches I've ever seen.

Doesn't he have the lowest winning percentage of all NBA coaches, ever?

Scott should just shut up. His big mouth is devaluing Russell's value to possible trade partners.

I like Byron.....and I think he was dealt a stinker. I think he was totally blind-sided by the firing, and I don't know what anyone expected him to do with that team.

But it's time to move on. As bad as that team was....you did NOTHING with it. You squeezed no extra juice...so to speak. And you had plenty to say about D'antoni...and how he should be fired with his horrible defense. And then you took over, and.......

Karma slapped you, my man. Let it go.

So Byron didn't realize he only had the job because of his relationship with Kobe and cause they weren't going to win anyway? Is he really that unaware? He actually thought he had the job based on his merit as a coach?

He's just trying to salvage his REP, to make him employable. And get a new job. So blame it in Jimmy!! Sounds good to me.

Shots fired and no reason for it. He described his job as just make Kobe happy. Then he would rest him on Christmas, not the game before. He was clueless.

I still completely shake my head at last season. His job was either to win games and/or develop young talent. And for 24-28 minutes a night, show off Kobe and keep him standing.

He literally stopped both options of winning games and developing young talent for the sole purpose of letting Kobe jack. And for a guy who says he can "control" Kobe, he sure as hell didn't do a good job of that. There was a significantly better way to use/max Kobe's talents in his final year and develop the young guys. He failed.

OT: Byrons dislike for Russell is really unhealthy. Outside of being a horrible coach, I wonder if teams with young players will stay away from him. He's making himself look bad. You'd think Magic would tell him to shut up.
