Do you guys have any interest in okafor? Abviosly no place on our team.
And if yes what would you send back?

Henderson and Okafor for Clarkson. Not much else matches up and we're not going to take Okafor off your hands at the expense of one of our young prospects just because you guys drafted too much at a single position.

Clarkson would be an easy one. We are going to have too many guards and are thin at the 5.

Sorry, but no way. Not for anything outside of Deng/Moz and other pieces to make it work.
He just isn't a good player (for reasons you know well) and he's already having knee issues at the age of 21. Plus the off-the-court- stuff, although there hasn't been much of that lately.
For a while after the 2015 draft there was a narrative from the Sixers side of "should we trade Okafor for D'Angelo Russell?", because Russell would have made so much sense for the Sixers. Fast forward to today and trading Russell for Okafor is unimaginable.

We really don't need a C anymore. Zubac is showing promise and we might go big man route with the 28th, plus we also have Tarik Black as well.

Okafor's value is rock bottom in current NBA. He is slow and doesn't defend well.
He would probably be good offensively with a guy like Lonzo feeding him but beyond that his value would be low.

I'd say no at this point, we have a healthy Moz and a young prospect in Zu. Also imho Okafor just isn't very good.

Until another Shaq comes along the traditional center position's value is at an all time low imho.

It's unreal how low Okafor's value is now.
To answer OP's question, I would probably not trade anything other than a last 1st or second round pick. Even then he doesn't sound appealing.

Look, I love Zubac... He's all the C we really need right now. But I think it's pretty safe to say Okafor's better.
If you could get him and Henderson for say Clarkson/28, that's a solid upgrade that saves us some cap too...
But I have a feeling that's not what OP was thinking and any more than that would be no deal for me.

not really. Look Okafor is solid but this is not one of the situations that could make him look good.
I'd consider doing it for something like 28 but it wouldn't really be worth your while.
He came in the wrong era, if he was around say 5-10 years ago, he would be one of the biggest prospects in the league, but we've moved past big, lumbering back-to-basket centers and we are going to center's who are shooting 3's, passing, defending etc.

For basically nothing? Sure!
For anything approaching his recent draft value? No
I think dude can put up 20ppg in his sleep. It's everything else that is worrisome. Next to nance at pf, he could work. But ok4 and Randle frontline has no chance. 28 for him. Sure. But that's not happening. I think some team will get him and be very happy. Give him 36 mpg and he will produce. Perhaps even at an all star eastern conference Level.
I'm not trading going hard after him thou

Deng for Okafor.
Sure.
I'll sweeten it by adding Byron Scott.

Not much more than Clarkson to be honest although I still love his offensive potential. He'd be a more efficient sixth man scorer for us but he wont be able to survive the pace of a Lonzo ball starting line up.

Okafor value is way too low right now so there might be a few teams interested but he is a player that Lakers do not need. We just signed Moz for a horrible deal and picked up a 2nd rounder stud in Zubac who is a fan favorite but another back to the basket guy. I think both guys might be better defender than Okafor so not much value in adding another similar center even though he is still young.
Good luck in trading him, if that is the goal, but it looks like the 76er might be holding on to him as they traded away Noel last year. If I were the GM, I would personally keep him until his value goes up. Hey, we ended up trading Lou Williams for a first rounder.

I'd do an Okafor for Clarkson swap pretty easy. For all his issues, the dude can clearly score and I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on him in a deal like that.

Really?
Okay. Okafor backs up Zubac and Moz. He gets 5-10 minutes per game with Black/Nance at the center spot who are probably better than Okafor. Now we have 5 centers. What do we have in backup spot for guard and scorer on the bench?
Lou Williams? Gone
Young? Gone
How do we develop our backup and bench? Where are the points coming from?

Okafor for our pick.
