What is the most you'd give/match Randle per season at this point?

Randle seems to be one of the most polarizing players on this board. His rookie contract ends this upcoming season. There is a lot of variables from now til then but at this point, what salary are you comfortable giving him?

Do they have to decide b4 this coming season or after? If after I'd wait. If b4 probably 10?

He's a restricted Free Agent at the end of next year. Either way, it will all depend on his play this year. For all we know he'll be traded at the deadline.

Unless he does something special this year, I'll offer right about what Clarkson got.

I don't think his market is that high. Only team I can see making an RFA offer is Brooklyn because they are desperate.

They already have 3 bigs and they have extensions coming up for Hood and Exum to worry about. I don't think he's a good fit alongside Gobert either.

i expect him to averaging 15-10-4/5. Thats 15mil minimum production.

I have him pegged at a very similar level of production. I think he'll get in excess of 20 mil/yr offers easy on the open market. He had strong production post ASB. Now you're talking about adding a guy like Ball, who'll benefit the whole offense, plus potentially adding more range to his offensive game, plus potentially getting rid of JC, thus creating more opportunities for him... I'm really curious to see how his situation will play out.

Yup I agree with you. Thats why I voted for 15 mill.

I don't really care if he averages a double double, I just care if he gets a lot of his points from three.

I would love him to get 14/8/4 48 fg% 34 3pt% I would give max 15 million for that... With improved effort on D of course.

And I really don't care if he learns how to use his right hand. Just shooting, and defensive effort.

That's a guaranteed max. Few players are average double double during a season and when you include 5 assist per game, we're talking superstar.

In the past 15 years, only Russell Westbrook, Chris Webber & Kevin Garnett put up over 15/10/5 during the regular season.

and Randle only 2 ppg, 1,5 apg, 1,5 rpg short last season despite his rawness. imagine what he can do this season

Easier said than done. To do that consistently over the season is tough, that's why so few players achieve it. For example, depending on his role next season, he could have more responsibility to score and have to compensate other areas of his game to do so.
