hmm i don't recall much talk about them building their own arena. It does make sense for them to go somewhere else and build an identity of their own.

Damn it, I was really hoping for the Seattle Clippers to be a thing.

No more covering Lakers championship banners @ Staples Center during Clippers games and sort of a Lakers home court advantage at their new arena in Inglewood. Win win for the LAL.

Why are they even in LA to begin with? Go find your own home.

Now's the time to do it. This team has nothing even resembling a history. They might as well be an expansion team. Go settle down in a new city, and build your identity there. LA doesn't need you, and it doesn't want you.

Ballmer has been looking for their own home ever since he bought the team. Clippers have been treated like Cinderella's red-headed step sister their whole time at Staples Center.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Why do I have the feeling that the Clippers new building will be nicer than ours.

Staples Center will be what 20+ years old when the Clippers proposed new arena opens? By then I'm sure Staples Center will be completely renovated with state of the art equipment and a much better fan experience as the Lakers will be in contention for a chip by then.
