Who do you want starting at center?

I'm having nightmares just thinking about a Randle/Brook frontline.

Just a few days ago I was salivating over the lakers young future starting 5. Ball/Russ/Ingram/Randle/zubac

Then, boom

Kick Russell off the team
And burry zubac behind a totally worthless center

I don't want Lopez to even put on a laker uni; I hope he is traded by he end of tonight.

As good as zublocka maybe he still not ready to start, but I totally believe he will be ready by next year and guess who is not gonna be here next year?
Just remember how long it took Bynum to crack the starting line up

Zu averaged 1 rebound less than Brooke in 14 fewer minutes a game last year, as a 19 yr old rookie still learning the ropes in a foreign country.

Maybe he can be the one teaching Brookie how to be a man and do what a 7'0 man should really do.

Although Lopez will probably start, if Zu doesn't see 20 mpg consistently(averaged 16 as a rookie), someone needs to be called the **** out.

Bury? I could easily see the minutes split Brook 28/Zu 20 before the trade deadline, Which is about right for a 2nd year 20 year old Center. Trade Brooks expiring for a 1st at the deadline and then start Zu for the rest of the season, with the remainder of the minutes going to black/nance.

Obviously Brook Lopez... Our best 3 point shooter.

I guess it will heavily depend on how bad our rebounding is next year

It's obvious. Can't wait to see Brook throw up the "3" sign after after make.

Brook will start for sure. If Zubby continues to improve, he might finish the game.

Brook obviously

Zu isn't ready to be a starter, he got cooked on the pick and roll last year. It's best if we keep Zu playing against 2nd units until he's ready. At least Brook can be a consistent threat to space the floor. I hope the minutes are closer to split and neither are on the floor during the end of the game.

Larry or Randle should end games at the 5, most likely Randle though

Zubac averaged 17 points per 36 his rookie year. Bynum averaged 8. Completely different players, Zubac came into the league as a very polished rookie and proved it when he got minutes. This is just stunting his development.

Mozgov. Undo the trade and bring back DLO

Definitely Brook with Zubac getting some solid bench minutes. By next year Zubac should be ready to be our starting center. I think he can learn a lot from Brook.

Trading away your best player, the player we were sucking, losing, suffering and tanking 1 whole year to get him, and then our incompetent FO trades him for a washed up player and a 27 pick... : :banghead: :banghead: We will all regret this.

Per 36... He's not ready to play heavy minutes yet. Luckily Lopez doesn't play a lot of minutes in the first place. I think Zu will get plenty of burn. I'm high in him but he needs a lot of work, especially defensively.

Kareem.

In all seriousness, it has to be Lopez then hopefully Zubac is ready the following year. Unless of course, Boogie is getting down so much at Staples that he makes everyone forget Dancing Barry.

to start the season i want Lopez. After the all star break it will be zubac.

People who say this trade will block zubac' growth are forgetting the fact that he will need to guard a borderline all star center every day in practice. This will improve his defense dramatically, imo.

I'm hoping lopez plays well enough to bring us a decent return before the trade deadline.

He will retire his number with the Lakers.

Brook Lopez

versatile scorer, can block shots and smart. Perfectly what we need.
