Porzingis

Post#1 » by rodney0124 » Thu Jun 22, 2017 3:51 pm

What would it take to get Porningis ? Is Lopez and Randel, plus the 27th and 28 and a future 1st be enough ?

Do not want. Sounds like he has bigger baggage than Russell. Hope they pass on him.

#2, 27, 28 + Randle / Clarkson Is what it would probably take. Not sure if the Knicks would even go for that.

What I heard is that he doesn't want to bang down inside. He's a Dirk. Seems like a wonderful fit for us, personally. But I don't know too much about his personality, tbh. Just like his game.

That said....I think you are looking all your first round picks for him. They'd maybe want something else as well. All 3 of our picks, and a future first rounder?

Lonzo, Paul George, Ingram (PG and Ingram can switch playing 2 or 3) Porzingis, Zubac. Seems like a great starting 5 to me. Wish it could happen. I suppose if all the Lebron hooplah is actually true, maybe to trade Ingram for Porzingis? Ingram and our 2-late first rounders. Would hate to see Ingram go.....man I really would. But Lonzo, PG, Lebron, Porzingis, and Zubac? Feel like there aughta be a title or two in there.

#2 AND Ingram are untouchable. Magic and Rob do not need to give up assets, it's just stupid to even consider it.

This guy is so overvalued it's mind boggling. The type of packages being mentioned by some fans around the different boards are what you offer established proven stars. KP is still unproven and may one day become all star caliber, but he's yet to get there. He's still a project and comes with some risk.

If they give up 2 or BI for this guy you just might see me adding to the overreaction on this board this week.

You forgot to add the Laker girls and the team bus in this deal.

Why would we do this?

Lol at people blaming this on Porzingis instead of Phil, the egomaniac who has trashed Melo no less than 5 times publicly in the past year. Dude has 0 attitude problems.

We don't have enough to get him. They want ingram, #2, all that. And we ain't giving that up. Only Jeanie can do it. She's gonna have to call in favors from Phil, remember the old times. Give us porzingis for 28th pick or whatever it was. And then have phil immediately quit the Knicks. Before he gets killed in the streets of NY.

Randle Clarkson Nance Zu 27 28 I'd do
Get PG as a FA as he wanted

Ball
PG
Lebron
Zing
FA

6th man: Ingram

The league would immediately step in and annul the trade in a situation like that.

Then nobody has enough to get him... Nobody's going to give their entire starting lineup and all their picks for Porzingis... I mean what the hell guys? This is Porzingis we're talking about here... Not Anthony Davis.

Have to agree - I don't recall any hints or incidents of KP being anything other thana ncie young guy who works hard. Very level-headed and groudned for a young man who's been through a tsunami of new-celebrity in NYC.

So he skipped an exit meeting - has a right to be pissed with the state of the Knicks. Phil has not only lost his mind he's a firm believer on all the old press calling him a zen genius. Bad combo.

Get KP and use nance as the inside grinder, and Tarik or TRob if we keep - we should, very good value for cheap $$

We'd be lucky to get knocked out in the conference semis with that roster. You're also forgetting that Porzingis would be up for a new deal by the time that roster was possible. We can't even afford that squad.

Some of you guys are crazy. I would personally drive Lonzo Ball and the Ball fam to New York for Porzingis. I'm not trading Ingram though.

Porzingis is damn good. I'm not saying we do it but answering the OP. The Knicks are going to want a ton for him.
