Well, when you got no back ups to relieve you for a minute or two then you gotta rack up those miles. I mean Luke has Ennis and Caruso...not exactly the people you want playing for a very long time. Then we have BI playing large minutes because we got a SF (Luol Deng) that doesn't even play let alone come to games, and we got Corey Brewer, who shouldn't play big minutes either.

Which makes me wonder what are they doing. It's not like they're leading the league in minutes. LeBron is third in minutes yet averages 2.35 miles... Weird. Possible inefficient movement?
LOL inefficient movement what? Nah, it's because we switch everything on defense and we're out in transition a ton leading to stats like tops in point in the paint. Both of these guys, on both ends, are doing the damn thing.
This is on Magic and Rob for not having a competent backup PG.

1, 3 and 13 on the same team. Wow. When that crew takes a downturn, we should be primed to take over.

Weird, considering it's almost impossible to buy an authentic jersey of his.

I won't watch until Lonzo comes back. He's the only thing that is entertaining. I'd rather mow my lawn in the snow.

Re: Official Lonzo Ball Rookie Thread No. 1
Pelinka, who previously served as Kobe Bryant’s agent, called Zo a “transcendent talent” in that “his performance transcends just the box score,” in much the same way that Steve Jobs and Bill Gates’ aptitude could not be accurately described by their academic performance.
“If you went and pulled Steve Jobs’ college transcript at Reed College, or you looked at Bill Gates’ college transcript at Harvard, it would show someone that may have struggled and that dropped out,” Pelinka explained. “And so if you just looked at the box score, you’d say, ‘this person is probably a failure.’ But those great visionaries just have a way of having an impact beyond the way most people get judged, and I think Lonzo is like that.”

I agree that Lonzo's play goes beyond the boxscore but I'm tired of Pelinka quotes. They are just plain ridiculous most of the time.

And where did they sell that? Cause I wasn't about to buy a knockoff when Nike jerseys were coming out.
I want to buy a Statement Authentic jersey but they're nowhere to be found.

His quotes are just as ridiculous as Lavar's, but in a completely different way.

I think it’s the agent in him to always be over selling. Don’t know if I’ll ever get used to it and not automatically roll my eyes when he speaks.
Can’t take him seriously since comparing signing KCP to bread coming down from heaven lol.

There can be no doubt why Rob and Kobe got along so well.
Pelinka: "Kobe, I was reflecting on your amazing career last night, and it became impossible to overlook the obvious parallels with Picasso, whose constant desire -- no, need -- to challenge and reinvent himself was so similar to yours."
Kobe: "Go on."

With Lavar though, you get the sense he’s in on the joke, that he knows he’s being ridiculous. Rob not so much.
