Who do we expect to be on the Summer roster that will most likely be on the team at the beggining of the season?

I'll go with

Ingram
Zubac
Ball (number 2 pick)
28th pick (hopefully a stretch 4)

Hopeful Russell does it one more year, just so we get taste of him off the ball (no pun intended)

Probably no larry nance, Robinson, Ennis, or Nwaba.

Thoughts?

David needs to play, along with Russell.

A Russell + Ball summer league showing would be must-watch basketball. In fact, I imagine Silver is probably already emailing Magic about it right now haha.

Bring back that Zac Auguste kid, i liked his effort on defense a lot.

3rd year players almost never play in the summer league, so i wouldn't get my hopes up on Russell being on the roster. Randle didn't even play in it last year.

Tickets are only $30 and you get to attend up to eight games (same day) with that one ticket, which is a pretty nice deal.

Why? He isn't very skilled, most mocks have him going in the second round. Don't understand why guys want him, must be the Kentucky factor.

I was kinda hoping zubac and Ingram would sit out this summer league. Ingram should be focused on gaining weight and improving his explosiveness. Same for zubac. I liked what Julius did last summer by working out with them and practicing but not wasting his time with the games.

Oh well, I guess if we get Ball it's a good opportunity to build chemistry with the 3 guys that I think should be cornerstones for us in Ball/ingram/zubac.

Wiley needs to add 3 point shooting to his game, they listed him at 6-7 but he plays like he's 6-10....if he can add the 3 point shoot he would be a better version of Matt Barnes.

I agree. I think he's more than athletic enough to play the 3 and his free throw shooting and limited college 3's indicate he can be a decent 3 point shooter eventually.

Last week, the Lakers invited Sterling Brown from SMU in for a workout. SBrown is a late, late 2nd round pick at best and most likely undrafted senior out of SMU when all the Euros get picked for some draft and stash cases.

Brown had his best season last year as a 22 year old senior averaging 13.4ppg, 6.5rpg, and 3.0 apg. Nothing that stands out. He is a 6'6" wing.

Sterling is the younger brother of Shannon Brown, ex-Lakers. He also shot a staggering 44%, 53% and 45% from long distance in his last 3 years. Brown's FT % was between 78% to 85% for the 3 years. He could be a sneaky pickup for the Lakers as they give him a shot at summer league.
