Ahh, what my week looks like when my players play to their normal levels.

I propose the change of the draft format, to further discourage the shameless tanking of some users(as in myself, see last season).
Introduce a lottery system for the 6 non playoff teams with the following odds(or close to it, the commish decides)

Some values I thought of, can be changed of course. Order is from worst record to 6th worst.

1. 35% odds of no.1 pick
2. 25% odds of no.1 pick
3. 17% odds of no.1 pick
4. 12% odds of no.1 pick
5. 7% odds of no.1 pick
6. 4% odds of no.1 pick

It's simple and easy. Custom 6 team league, just enter the number of balls each team will get(number identic with the odds percentage)

So after admittedly deliberately tanking and losing 17 weeks in row last season, now that you have reaped the benefits and sit at the top of league you want to block any other teams from ever doing the same?



Even though I've never had to employ it, tanking is legitimate strategy in dynasty IMO.

Yeah, something like that. I'm ashamed of my actions, especially since I've gotten Capela/Jordan/Rubio because of them.

I never set my lineup deliberately after Christmas, or barely set them so it didn't become too obvious, but still lose 2-7 or something like that. And I barely eeked Mirja for the worst record, imagine what I would've done with Fultz? A whole bunch of nothing.

I could have easily won 4 categories each week if I wanted too, last year. Don't blame the player, blame the rules.

You can still tank for pingpong balls if you want, but nothing is guaranteed this way. It's a gamble. It will improve the competition by a whole lot.
We are a 12 team league....if 3-4 teams are tanking each year, it's not that fun, considering we don't have the same schedule, some of us will play those teams twice, some only once.

You can legitimately gain/lose a playoff spot not because you were a world beater, but by bare luck you got to play a guy who wanted to lose bad, more times than your direct opponents.
That shouldn't be the main criteria, the main criteria should be roster strength. By imposing a lottery system, roster strength will gain more value in determining the overall standings, as it should.

The lottery is a cancer system for the NBA, i hate everything about random chance deciding who gets what. It might be better for fake drafts with 12 total people tho

KAT was shut down by the Pelican towers. Couldn't even stay on the floor. I'd hate to be a frontcourt player playing AD/Cousins. Can't wait to see Embiid have a crack at it.

Man, RO leading the rankings and Mirj being competitive. This is surreal.

Also, I got a lot of nice pickups and it'll be a problem whenever CP3 will be activated. Collins and Bogdan are getting minutes, my WW gems are contributing consistently (Oubre and Simmons), my vets are getting a resurgence (Howard, Clarkson, Dragic).
