A trade that was a win-win for both sides. Just like how it should be.

I beat the rebounds all time record this week, and was 4 steals shy of the steals record. I had that in the bag if Isaac/Rondo/Dunn didn't miss all those games.

While Ty was 1 assist shy of beating the all time record himself.

Gonna be a fun week.

Looked at Ty's schedule....even tho' I beat him twice this year, without breaking a sweat...
Third time's the charm....and unfortunately when it **** counts. :( :(

Gonna need a major miracle to offset that major discrepancy in games played.

Someone answer this? Thought we were only considering elimination phase without playoffs?

Cause the way KJG is behaving, it seems post playoff seeding matters.

Last I remember it doesn't. I was always picking based on where I finished in the standings, not in the playoffs, if I remember right.

For all the previous season, the 6 non-playoff teams, those who play in the consolation brackets, were assigned draft picks 1 through 6, from worst regular season record to best.

Consolation brackets match results do not effect draft positions. I earlier made a post showing the already set draft order for the 6 teams playing in the consolation rounds.

For the playoffs teams, draft positions 7 through 12 are all determined by the playoff results, from worst to best.

Examples:
Last year I had the 2nd best regular season record, but only the 12th pick (traded away to Wavy Q) because I won the playoffs.
Earl had the 6th best regular season record, but finished 3rd in the playoffs and only had the 10th pick not the 7th pick.
(I eventually traded for that same 10th pick, during the mini-draft between our 2 newest managers).
AK had the 3rd best regular season record, lost all his playoff matches and drafted at number 7.

What an embarrasment of a week. I could get 9-0'ed in the Finals.

I mean literally, there's a chance I might end up getting 1/3 of last week's totals, half would be a godsend at this point.
I'll probably set season lows in every damn category not named FT% and turnovers. At the worst possible time.

I had a **** terrible schedule to begin with, with very few games. And after 3 days, I already have missed games from Dunn, Isaac, Capela, Rondo, Payton, Noel.

Think about all the things that could go bad for you. It got worse.

Congrats Ty. :P :P

Finals match is close - 5-4 !

Looks like Ty is aiming for more assists, but might lose turnovers as a consequence...

I was 2 turnovers away of being down 0-9 at the half way point of the week. Then Griffin, Ball and Embiid went down and I made up the ground, even though I had guys missing games as well, most importantly Rubio, since I need assists to win this.

It's still a far fetched scenario in which I can win, since I need both assists and turnovers, and Ty needs only one.
I'm still low key hoping for steals, I had 76 steals last week but have 23 this week. I still have plenty of guys today and tomorrow who can get them in bunches, but they have severely underperformed this week.

Nontheless, somehow it's a ball game after a complete demolition in the beginning. And that's not my merit by any means, but Ty's suckiness as well.

I had .530% FG 406 reb 187 ast 76 ste and 49 blks last week. I'm underperforming like crazy.

Ty has previously mentioned wanting to implement some kind of lottery draft system in 2019 to prevent tanking.
Since this will effect the trade value of future 2019 draft picks which will be available soon for post-season trades, let's all discuss the possibilities:

Option 1 - All 12 lottery picks are randomly assigned by lottery.
Pros - Stops tanking. All lottery picks have equal trade value, because they have equal chance of winning #1.
Cons - Bad luck. Imagine the worst team ending up with the last pick, or the league champion gaining the first pick.

Option 2 - The top 6 picks for the non-playoffs teams are by lottery and the other 6 picks are based on playoff results as normal.
Pros - Decreases incentive for tanking.
Cons - Once playoffs team lose a match up, there is no reason not to tank for higher draft position. Random luck can hurt teams.

Option 3 - Two lotteries, one for the 6 non-playoff teams and another for the 6 playoffs teams.
Pros - Decreases incentive for tanking.
Cons - Harder to predict trade value for picks. Random luck can negatively hurt teams.

Option 4 - Keep the current system, no lottery.
Pros - Tanking is a viable strategy. Lottery picks have more predictable trade value.
Cons - Tanking is a viable strategy. Tanking team can negatively effect playoff teams' seeding.

Nevermind, just saw Ty adding Satoransky and Burke. That pretty much seals it, I already had problems gaining enough assists.

That bastard wouldn't leave anything to chance.

As for the draft system, I proposed a theory as well awhile back, without the need to make a complete overhaul, rather use the NBA way for the 6 non playoff teams, and assign them pingpong balls, the more you suck, the more you get, but it's still not a certainty you get first dibs at a higher pick like it is now. KJG's option two.

And I added a site who generates results based on odds as well. That should be simple enough, but I'm down to other ideas if it means we get to rid of the current system.

Burke beasted. It's gonna be difficult now.

I like options 3.
