Yeah, it doesn't feel that good with me either, but now I get to draft one place higher.

Should have won this. Don't know when I'll get another crack at the title.

**** steals man. Had 70/66/58/76 in the last 4 weeks before this. Unacceptable.

This one hurts like crazy, but my window is still open. Already working on next year.

I actually like my position. I had John Collins and Bogdan Bogdanovic last year so I'm pretty confident.

Although I'm not sure who to drop. I really wanted to hold onto Oubre and Levert.

I haven't won against you KJG so I'm still pissed! Watch out!

I don't have any picks so I'm already banking on the FA pool.

Giles is healthy and practicing for awhile now, and all the reports and quotes from the guys around him suggest he's a monster.

VanVleet, Bradley, Payton, Looney and Noel are FA. Opportunity on their next teams will sway my opinion on who will stay and who will go, since I have 2 extra players over the max roster size.
I'm going to drop my two guys only after FA, so you can spare the trouble of hounding my ass Tyson.

BTW, congrats Ty. Can't say I'm surprised. Drafting Harden was a brilliant move back all those years ago. He's become such an anchor.

Kobe>Jordan>God wrote:Ty has previously mentioned wanting to implement some kind of lottery draft system in 2019 to prevent tanking.
Since this will effect the trade value of future 2019 draft picks which will be available soon for post-season trades, let's all discuss the possibilities:

Option 1 - All 12 lottery picks are randomly assigned by lottery.
Pros - Stops tanking. All lottery picks have equal trade value, because they have equal chance of winning #1.
Cons - Bad luck. Imagine the worst team ending up with the last pick, or the league champion gaining the first pick.

Option 2 - The top 6 picks for the non-playoffs teams are by lottery and the other 6 picks are based on playoff results as normal.
Pros - Decreases incentive for tanking.
Cons - Once playoffs team lose a match up, there is no reason not to tank for higher draft position. Random luck can hurt teams.

Option 3 - Two lotteries, one for the 6 non-playoff teams and another for the 6 playoffs teams.
Pros - Decreases incentive for tanking.
Cons - Harder to predict trade value for picks. Random luck can negatively hurt teams.

Option 4 - Keep the current system, no lottery.
Pros - Tanking is a viable strategy. Lottery picks have more predictable trade value.
Cons - Tanking is a viable strategy. Tanking team can negatively effect playoff teams' seeding.

I'm gonna go with option 2. But I'd take it a step further and have them those six teams with identical odds of landing the first pick.
That way there is practically no incentive to tank because you could easily just get the 5th pick if you shoot for 1st.

Yeah, I agree about drafting Harden. Aside from playing superb basketball and being consistent regardless of teammates, he has been really durable. I can't think of anyone who has as much impact as he had for the past years.

Set you lineups more often next year. Anthony Davis deserves better.
First Earl, than you. It amazes me how guys continue to suck with him as an anchor.

Confirmed!

Danilo should fit in well with my team, seeing as he's always injured, LOL.
