UCLA Health Training Center - Update?

For those who live in SoCal and may have an update...any news on when the team will be moving into the new training facility? All I've found on the web is that is scheduled for completion this summer but not when the team will relocate there.

Idk about the official date either but the center has a Twitter profile and posted some pretty cool pics of the place a few days ago

I was thinking about this too.. did it fall behind schedule? Would have thought this would have b een done by now.. Would have thought they would have targeted to be done before July first to use as a taking point when letting free agents... It's pretty sad to see the Lakers current practice facility compared to the other teams around the league.. it looks pretty ghetto when we try to have media days and announcements from the current facility...

It's almost done TyCobb posted some pictures of it, I think in the Draft thread... They're putting the final touches on it now and it looks extremely nice.

Cannot wait to see it finished. When I lived in LA I used to work on Sepulveda and Mariposa, ran into Kobe a few times at the Sturbucks on Sepulveda and Mitch and John Black at El Pollo Loco lol. During lunch I used to head down the street to the Toyota practice facility to watch the players after workouts, fun times.

Glad we are investing in the best training facility. Off topic. Got a gym membership. Owner picked Lakers purple and gold for all machines. Makes me more motivated LOL. Getting after it.

Thanks for posting, this is awesome to see. My loyalty for the Purple and Gold will live with me even though I no longer live in LA.

I work 5 minutes from the new facility. If anyone wants pics, I can take some when I'm passing by next time
