Indy fans are fine with Victor O because PG was going to leave for nothing... It's not some ringing endorsement for a middle tier 2... Sure he may not leave, but then again, who cares if he does.

And I wish fans would quit with the 'hate' nonsense for anyone that doesn't have a raging hardon for every player... Just because you don't wet yourself for a guy, doesn't mean you hate him... Meh is not hate... But then again, if all you can get when you trade Paul George is Meh... Well, you kind of suck at GMing...

If Russell Westbrook and KD plus scrubs couldn't get it done, what makes you think Russell Westbrook and PG plus scrubs could work? This has 1 year rental written all over. PG is going to convince Westbrook to come to LA as well. Pritchard did us a favor honestly.

That offer indicates no one got a commitment from George.

All things considered, better to have George in OKC than BOS or CLE, that alone is reason for optism since there was no way he wasn't getting traded somewhere.

So much disrespect for Randle! He is the best player out of Sabonis, Oladipo, and himself. I hope dude shows out next season and we take Westbrook and George next offseason.

Not so fast Westbrook is going to take the max deal in OKC.

My point was that he's a troll from New York who's in our thread for some weird reason. I couldn't care less how long he's been on this forum or how many times he's posted, he's a troll and it's strange that he's here instead of the Knicks or Nets boards.

I hope Indiana has all their picks.
this has to be repeated again and again. This is truly an amazing deal for OKC and terrible for Ind. they would've been better of letting George walk next summer.

No idea if this is true, and I'm not sure if George had already declared he was leaving. But David Aldridge said that Indiana turned down a deal at the deadline with Boston that would have included the BKN pick that came up No. 1. I'm skeptical given how miserly Ainge is with assets. But if true, holy crap. What a missed opportunity.

They got a one-year tryout with an All-Star for a major disappointment (Oladipo) and borderline prospect (Sabonis). Why not?

Not to mention they hate spending money. They dump players right when it's time to pay them. Probably cringed after Oladipo inked extension.

This is OKCs way of staying in playoff hunt, keeping fan base excited and not spending/committing too much money.

Oh well, just continue rebuilding. :)

I wanted Westbrook and PG on our team but whatever.

It could still happen and now they have a year of experience playing with one another.

Personally I don't want either as I don't think PG13 is good enough and RWB just had the best year he's ever going to have. I don't want a declining entity.

milesfides wrote:Russ and KD went pretty far together...wouldn't say they couldn't work. Game 7 against the Warriors, remember? Presti made some big mistakes, couldn't improve that team after they peaked with harden and ibaka.

KD's leaving reflected poorly on his character; wouldn't say that it was justified because of some fault in Russ. Dwight didn't want to play with Kobe - that's on him.

KD took the easy way, and he's racking up the numbers and ratcheting up the defense now that he's faced the least burdens of any superstar ever. Lebron would also look pretty good on the Warriors. So would Kawhi. So would...Paul George. KDs just on a historic team, that's not on Russ.

Anyways, OKC are going to be good this year. And much better than the Lakers. I'd like to be hopeful, but if you're banking on hope, you should be fired.

You have to ask yourself, If you were PG13, and from LA, idolize Magic, grew up a Laker fan, dreamt of wearing purple and gold, and have to play 2nd fiddle to a MVP Westbrook and OKC... as oppose to being the man in LA with Lonzo Ball and Lukes system and potentially expand your brand and marketability in LA... you would choose LA over OKC 100%.

If OKC doesn't win a Championship, PG 13 will be in LA next season.

Wasn't Paul George a Clippers fan / Kobe fan growing up?
