Ingram adjusted his jumper, worked with KD's old shooting coach

Cant wait to see him with a year under his belt.

The Lakers haven’t reworked his whole stroke, but it sounds like they’ve made one key change.

“The rotation of his shot. Brian Keefe, our assistant coach, really did a great job with him and just kind of tweaked a few little things that Brandon bought in to,” Buechler said.

Eagle-eyed fans may notice that Keefe has been widely credited with helping Kevin Durant on his path towards super-stardom as an assistant in Oklahoma City. Similar results obviously shouldn’t be expected from Ingram yet, but the early returns are good.

Worth noting that Durant shot 28.8% from 3 his rookie year.

I love this.

An also not to forget, B.I also has Gunnar Peterson to help boost up his strength and explosiveness!

He's doing all the right moves to become great and I'm really happy that our Front Office is fully invested in him.

compared to jaylen brown, all of ingrams shot efficiencies were worse last year. Brown could end up being the better player if Ingram ends up being a chucker.

Hopefully it works out.

Thought his jump shots look a bit clunky last season.

Nice to hear. I'd guess his elbow will be brought in an inch and to his left, release point higher? Can't wait to see him destroy people in summer league.

Your team added a top 3 pick this year, and just signed the best FA on the market, and you're worried about coming to a Lakers board to troll?? Nice to know we live in your head rent free even when we're at the bottom.

Everybody cites Tony Parker, but the work he and Chad Forcier (now with Orlando) did with Kawhi was phenomenal. Granted, Kawhi has historically great work ethic and ambition. He wants to be great and is willing to put the time in to get there. But they were the ones who laid out the blueprint for him. Quality coaching like that is worth its weight in gold.

One of the good things about Ingram is that, by all accounts, he's a gym rat, which means he's willing to put in work as well. Let's hope it pays off because we need him to be great. Not good -- great.

This is excellent news. In 2 years he will be scary good. When he get consistency with that shot, he will be as I projected and hoped for. The next Kevin Durant.

Well he his KD 2.0, with the potential to be a better defender.

I love it.

Glad to see him putting in the work.

I'm not worried about anything. I come to this lakers board because we own the 2018 lakers pick, and checking to make sure things are still looking bad for that pick to increase. Looks like they are. With Lakers gaining glass man Lopez and losing Russell, Porter Jr will be very nice addition to the 1-seed balling Celtic.

His form was different game to game last year...... and from shot to shot sometimes. Later in the year he seemed to be using the same cocking motion on every shot and they began to fall a little more consistently.

With arms as long as his I think it could take a while before he's a consistent deep jump shooter.

Great to hear he's got a shot coach.
