That noted, in overshadowing the stars the role players showed how they can help NBA teams. Caruso's accurate 3-point shooting and strong defense make him ideal for a role as a backup or third point guard. I'd compare him to Philadelphia 76ers point guard T.J. McConnell, albeit with better shooting range and weaker court vision. He has earned an invitation to training camp with a legitimate chance to make a team -- possibly even the Lakers, who have only combo guard Jordan Clarkson on the roster behind Ball

i didn't realize Caruso is a 6'6 footer. Perfect size for a point guard and he hustle, can score, can pass, and has decent stats in college. perfect 3rd stringer atm and probably has potential to be the next Steve Blake in this league.

Steve Blake was a national champion at Maryland and a highly touted PG when he came into the league. Don't confuse the broken down version we got in LA to what he was in his prime.

The hate for Lonzo is so sttrong the GB's trying to hype up every guard who isn't Lonzo as much as possible. Happened when DLO was drafted with guards like Mudiay who are absolute trash. Everytime Mudiuay finally made a few shots DLO was labeled a bust.
