What do you think about Clark ?
I think he can be a great pick for the Lakers. But still not a real pg

I would love In Clark since we desperately need the shooting but I have no idea how we could afford him.

Move JC for capspace and give that money to Ian Clark on a one year deal. Doubt it happens, JC might be considered negative value at this point.

It is possible but at this point I just want someone out there that can hit an open three for Lonzo besides our center.

I think we can give him our MLE.
I don't know if any other teams can give him more.
I think he's good. He played with all-stars but when he was in there with their second unit, he played very well.

At this stage of FA, each passing day, Clark is becoming more and more affordable

I'd take Ennis back, personally. I liked what he did with us, and when I look down the stats, it looks like your essentially getting the same player. I liked Ennis' effort, and feel like he could improve.

Huh? The same player as who? I'm all for bringing Ennis back as backup PG, but he's nowhere near a similar player to Clark. Personally I want both Clark and Ennis here, with JC being moved out.

I dont know man.....looking the same to me. Nothing really jumps out as different. Player 2 has a tad better FG% Player 1 has twice the assists.

Nice.....comes out totally different than what it shows when you write it. That's nice. Anyhow..you can quickly figure it out

Are you arguing which one is better? Those stats you provided could be used to argue that. Or are you arguing they're a similar style? Which is what I thought you where arguing. Those stats don't really tell you anything about that. Clark gives the Lakers a guy who can play off the ball and space the floor, something they desperately need. That's not Ennis's game. Either way, I've already said there's no reason both can't be here, as there's a role for each one.

No....I wasn't really arguing anything. My initial comment was that you look at the stats, and it appears like your getting more or less the same player.

I'd be the first to tell you that you can't read 5 or 6 stats and "Define" a player. I agree with you there. I don't watch a ton of Warriors, and when I do, I'm not watching Ian Clark.

But stats do paint a picture. One player is a career 1.2 3pattempts per game shooting .342 the other guys attemps 1.6 at .364

I don't know that "one spaces the floor" vs the other....you know? Your talking about 20-25 more attempts in an entire season, and making maybe 4 extra 3's in that entire year.

But anyhow...my point was I don't see one player really standing out as better. Both look like backup material so far. Ennis is a couple years younger.....he's been a Laker already (barely).....and so I'd take him. But neither player shows any reason to get excited or bummed about

Ian Clark's value is that he played on the Warriors' system. Yes the same system Luke is intalling with the Lakers.

Clark is a pretty meh player. He doesn't do anything great on the court that stands out. I'd rather just re-sign Ennis since we need another PG.

I would love to see a scenario where we trade Clarkson for cap room and bring in Ian Clark as his replacement.
