Perfect spot for T.Black (PnR in HOU) and good for Nwaba!

Not sure we really had space for David anymore with how many guards we have now that aren't necessarily ball-handlers.

Interesting spot for Nwaba and perfect fit for Black.

That Chicago backcourt shooting though.

Good for Black and damnit Chicago.... I hope they cut him to pair down the roster as I'd rather have him than Ennis or Caruso.

Not sure Nwaba is a true NBA player. He fits on our team but then again..... Good for Black. I liked his effort. He's got a chance to make a difference on a good team.

+1

Didnt need Black and his sizable contract but Nwaba will be missed. Now we need a vet PG and serviceable SG.

http://www.espn.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/chi/chicago-bulls

Currently the Bulls have 11 players that are listed as PG/SG although some might be able to play SF position. There is a real possibility that the Bulls might release him again.

That's a best case scenario. I was hoping they were guard heavy

I'm happy for Tariq, and Nwaba, at hopefully having found new homes, where they can play meaningful minutes, and grow as players.

I understand that Nwaba was a "feel good" fan favorite, who played defense, but going forward it was really doubtful that he was going to get real minutes, behind our other guards. Namely Lonzo, Clarkson, KCP, and Hart. Heck, even Brewer can play both wing positions.

Unless Hart falls off the earth, and Clarkson is traded for a bag of beans, Nwaba wasn't going to be more than a "rally guy", coming off the bench. I don't think that's what he wants for himself, and this could be an opportunity for him to spread his wings, and see if he has the stuff to become a name in the league. I'm rooting for him, and Tariq. Just not when they play us. :P

I don't think so. Morrow is an UFA not expected to be back. There are rumors Payne will be cut. Wade might be bought out. Blakeney has a two-way G-league contract. Zipser is a SF (no idea why ESPN lists him differently). LaVine is recovering from an ACL injury.

As a Bulls fan, what can you tell me about Nwamba? It seems like you guys liked him a lot. I know there are concerns about his shot and handle. Any chance he can run an offense?

I didnt view Nwaba as a facilitator. He's a player than you don't need to run any plays for and he will still find a way to score. Players love him because he just makes things easier that way. He's an energy and defensive guy. He will block shots with his wing span. A poor mans KCP without the range. He has been trying to extend his range, but has look uncomfortable still with his shot.

If Nwaba tries to run an offense there will be a ton of easy baskets, on fast breaks, for the other team. As has been said he is a hustle and D shooting guard. Currently no jump shot and certainly not running an offense, as said before you don't even run plays for him. He will score on fast breaks and in "garbage" ways, and I don't mean that as a bad thing.

Nwaba doesn't need any plays run for him

Defense and slashing is his game.
