Magic couldnt have said ZO was the face of the lakers with BI being behind him... so he had to say BI is another face of the lakers for due diligence. but its true, both are the future of the lakers.

Don't think you need me to define "soon". In any event I'd guess 4-5 years.

It was a killer off season after seeing Ball and Kuzma play. If we do get Paul George next season things could change real fast. But were going to have to see how Ball/Ingram/Randle/Clarkson/Kuzma do this season before throwing out 4-5. When Lopez comes off the books I think we'd have cap to sign two max players. I see PG definitely coming here though. I think we actually wind up signing Lopez again. PG traditionally does well with a good center. And seeing that Lopez can stretch the floor he will be a fine fit with Ball. I feel Ball is going to be a great floor general. The kicker for contending is going to be based around Ingram getting to that next level...and another guy getting to the next level(Kuzma, Randle?).

4-5 years was a guess and not exactly a prediction. I'm not a fan of making predictions. It looks like your "guess" is that it could be sooner based on how the group does this season... That's fine, we don't necessarily differ here. I think we can both agree that there are a large number of teams that are currently either better than we are and/or much further along than we are.
