New Nike NBA Jerseys starting in 2017-2018

http://news.nike.com/news/nike-nba-game-uniformsHow will this change the history of the golden armor? There are no specifics for the Lakers team yet, but if they get to choose from four different colors per game, where does it leave the gold color uniforms?
To top it off, I just ordered my Lonzo Ball (Adidas) jersey from the NBA store today, smh.

The Lakers only really had 3 color unis. The gold (home),Purple (road) and the Sunday White home. Only recently they added the Black one. So I don't think it will change anything. The Lakers will have their gold home unis still. They can't change that.

Kinda wish they'd choose Purple for the home unis, always liked it better than the Gold

I purposefully refrained from buying an Adidas Ball jersey for this reason.

The purple jersey is the exact replica of the current LSU jersey.

Yeah, I haven't bought a Lonzo jersey for this reason.
Will Nike be doing the other merchandise as well? I hope so as Nike's NFL team merchandise is fantastic. Hopefully this happens with the individual teams as well.

I don't care about what the NBA said about doing away with the home and away designation. The Lakers are still wearing gold at home on every night but Sundays and when they gear up with the black ones.
I do like the fact that they have the "Icon" and "Community" uni's...kinda want to see how those come out. But the Icon uni's will only be made for 8 teams. Gotta guess that LA, Boston,New York and Chicago are automatics. Guess they'll nut hug on the Warriors also.

I would love it if Magic brought back the Showtime jerseys as our regular uniform but with 8 teams getting classic jerseys, chances are that will be the only time we use them. I hope they go on sale. I know Ingram and D'Lo had them released in limited quantities. Would love to get a Ball, Nance, or Ingram jersey.
