Bleh
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

I like it... Completely became a team player, that Lonzo Ball effect on others. Lets see if he keeps it going during camp and preseason. Blue was a pretty solid finisher around the rim this preseason

Although, he's not as good as Clarkson... He somewhat is Clarkson-like but cheaper. We going to be out here running anyway. If he makes the team I wonder if this helps the Clarkson trade happen around the trade deadline?

He is just a scorer, I like him. He could be a valuable spark off the bench. Good and cheap, you can't ask for something better.

Yeah but at least he knows his strengths. These days Clarkson just spots up and settles for the three and mid range shots.

Doubt it's more than a camp invite unless we end up trading Clarkson before the season starts. If we do end up trading Clarkson, one can assume that it's a salary dump at worst and a salary dump with future assets coming in at best, so essentially, we would really have no one capable of scoring off our bench. Not the biggest fan of Vander, but if I'm correct and this is insurance for a Clarkson trade, I like this move....He plays hard and can score....definitely a flawed player that has no business getting minutes on a winning team though, but best of luck and congratulations for him....he seems like a hard worker so props.

He did, but he's a ball hog.

I feel like the partial guarantee is saying "show me you can be a team player, and we'll keep you".

This. He hasn't seen a shot he doesn't like and dribbles 1 on 5. Just like JC does, but worse. To me he's a summer league level JC and I think he should not be on the team, but I'm ready to give him a shot at making the team. I'm sure he'll change his entire mindset because Lonzo is in the same zip code.

he had moments in summer league and D/G League and if he's not having those moments on the regular he can kick rocks because the kind of brutal he looks when he's brutal is corrosively bad

He's a guy who puts pressure on the defense with every move. He gets to the line at a very high rate and he puts it all out there every night. Not sure he's an NBA player but hey... we're the 3rd worst team so a guy like him may have a spot on our roster. My guess is that he will again be in the G League. Why the hell did they change the name? Did "D" sound like they had the lowest passing grade or something? I liked the name "Defenders" too.... I also like the Bullets.
