If the front office doesn’t get Paul George, it’s a monumental failure of delivering on their promises.

If we can't get him - then we have to go for DAJ or a trade for Whiteside? other wise we'll have to wait YET another season in hoping we'll grab a top tier FA - no need for 34 year olds on this team
Edit: I have a feeling we're going to lose out on Randle as Magic will wait as long as he can in FA for that star

It's better to wait for next summer when Klay and Kawhi will be available anyway.
Magic and Pelinka already said that they won't trip if they miss out on PG/Cousins/Bron this summer and make any panic moves.

I'm convinced TLue is clueless. They were struggling to find someone who can create for himself and others other than Lebron and he left him to rot on the bench. Last game vs Indiana that guy posted 33-7-7 and he only got 20 minutes in Game 1. SMH

George's offensive production is really inconsistent from game to game. OKC is one game better than last year. Sure normally I would take George right away but committing 35 million a year to a 18 PER player who doesn't seem to move the needle much in the wins column is not something I'll be too disappointed about if it doesn't come to fruition.

Whiteside looked absoluetly horrible in game 1 against the Sixers. Not touching him with a 10 foot pole.

Re: Around the NBA IX
Whiteside sucks... Rather drop near max money on Randle than sign him.
With how it's going for LeBron and the situation with KLeonard... I'm wondering if plan A is KL and Lebron... George and Lebron may be second option.
But I agree, not getting George or Kawhi, and then losing out on LeBron would be a fireable offense at this point... I don't see it happening, but if that did happen, I would expect calls for new management... And probably ownership.

Re: Around the NBA IX
I would rather have RAndle too - but if he leaves because magic decides to wait too long
we will lose out on Randle
Then who we got? lolpez/frye- I can't stand another season of lolpez
we'll have to go for DAJ/Whitside/DMC if RAndle goes -
I really hope Magic just doesn't get all hyped up on this star FA thing.
Edit: I know Magic/rob have stated that they're happy too wait for 2019, but I just don't know about that part of me just believes he'l wait for the last second of FA

Re: Around the NBA IX
I think even Lopez is going to be tough to keep... I feel like he's going to get a pass on some of his failings just because he was playing with a relatively bad team. I still see him getting in excess of 10M per...
That said, if we get a verbal agreement from LeBron and PG right away, all we need is a long body... Maybe a guy like DAJ takes a cut to stay in LA and play for a ring... Whiteside is probably going to want/demand more money. DMC is a unicycle until proving otherwise... Have to start looking at guys like Okafor and Nerlens Noel. Don't really need a whole lot more than that anyway.

Re: Around the NBA IX
Have a feeling Pop's going to be available this summer... I believe hiring him would be a mistake, but I think him leaving San Antonio this summer may be an inevitability and so will rumors about him coming to LA.
In a vacuum, hiring Pop is a no-brainer... But hiring him to take orders from Magic and Rob, and firing Luke to do it, would be a huge mistake in the long run IMO.

I think he'd retire before coaching somewhere else to be honest.

If we don't re-sign Randle our front line is going to be really really thin either way - Hint too Magic/rob re-sign Randle please we only only need 1 star to get the ball rolling

I think Pop stays with the Spurs just to stick it to the Lakers when the inevitable Ingram for Kawaii trade happens. He will want to show us how great Ingram is under his tutelage.

Boy I love Rondo's game. He control's pace and compete's on both ends of the floor.

Playoff Rondo is a bad mf. He was last year in Chicago too.

Nance with 24min and 2pts... -11... Yikes... Safe to say he needs to show a bit more. At least he stayed on the court longer than Clarkson.
