Nance not improving his reputation at all still... I guess there's always home court to look forward to...

He is a 2 time champ, former MVP, multiple time all star, and the best player in the world at his position.

That is coming off multiple ankle injuries and surgeries, as well as knee injuries without missing a beat.

He doesn't have to act tough. HE is tough because most would have mailed it in with the ankle and knee injuries he had. That's like saying he acts like a winner ... He is one

I'd probably act the same way if I had made those shots he was making last night. Lol

Jordan Clarkson in the playoffs:

3.3 PER
77 ORTG
112 DRTG
-9.3 BPM
35.8% TS
23% from 3
0.049 (I **** you not) Free throw rate
0 assists in his last 93 minutes

How did we offer this guy a $50M+ deal and how did we even manage to get rid of him without adding multiple 1sts? He might have been the most toxic contract from the summer of 2016 even with what we offered Mozgov and Deng.

Whoa there. We still got a late 1st for him and Nance a year and a half later (I know Nance on the cheap was the real reason we got the 1st, but easy enough to dump him). Those other 2 contracts are in another tier of toxicity. But yeah it had become pretty clear for the last year and a half, between his play and the market not blowing up like everyone thought it would, that he was quite overpaid.

They did Clarkson a favor by lumping Jr Smith in there and calling it worst 40 lol, Clarkson is up there at 3rd worst ever.

I used to think Kobe made the most difficult shots. That was until Curry began his prime. This dude isn't from this world.

He's actually second worst because the first two slots are occupied by Jason Collins in different years.
So there's really one other player who did worse based on PER.

But I'd argue he's actually no.1 because Collins did other things who don't ecuate on the PER board. Clarkson doesn't do absolutely nothing.

Called his scrub ass numerous times in the last 2 years, he got way more minutes than his talent level actually warranted.

There are a lot of players on the 2016-2018 Lakers who got inflated numbers based on the system and won't ever again sniff signficant roles on other teams because they have a flawed skill level for today's game. One of them is Randle and the cockriders can bite me, I CAN'T wait for the next season to begin to rub some **** in people's faces.

To me he was always in the category of Chucky Atkins and Smush Parker and should have never ever been a rotation Lakers player. Thanks for the stats.

Nance and Clarkson have yet to perform at the clip they did under Luke. I think this might be a trend going forward. He just steadily keeps proving that he’s the right man for the job.
NBA titles since the merger: LAL 11, CHI 6, SAS 5, BOS 5, GSW 4.

Best shooter in history, hands down.

If you just eye-balled him, you'd guess he shot in the low 30s/high 20s just for the degree of difficulty of his attempts. But he's at nearly 44 percent for his career -- fourth-best in NBA history -- on eight attempts per game. That is absolutely insane. Two of the guys in front of him, Kerr and Hubert Davis, were specialists, and the third, Drazen Petrovic, was an elite scorer/shooter but took only two 3s per game. So he's in a class completely by himself in terms of volume/accuracy.

And what separates him even further is how he can create so many of his own looks by himself. Unlike, say, Reggie Miller, where you're running him through a gauntlet of screens to get him a shot, he can just go one on one and get an inch daylight pretty much any time he wants. I get sick of some of his antics, but he's easily one of the most entertaining players I've ever seen.

I mean, just look at this! Yes, it's only warmups, but that's video game stuff. He drills 40-footers like they're free throws.

That fadeaway 3 point shot to beat the shot clock was a thing of beauty. It had like perfect arc and trajectory and spin. Nothing but net.

Best shooters ever.

Bird, Miller, Curry ??? that's my top 3 for best shooters, not talking about anything else, just shooters

Probably crazy to put bird at number 1, I just remember him back in the day burning so many teams, probably just memory clicking back, for when I use to be a player folllower

I'd put Curry as the best pure shooter ever... he's frightening when he gets heated up.. Alex English was sweet, the guy never seemed to miss and his shot was almost unblockable because he was tall and his release was up over his head, Glen Rice had a nice shot.. those are the two that really stick as pure shooters after Curry.. Reggie M too

I too remember Bird as having an amazing shot. It just seemed to always be on. (Drove me nuts as a Lakers fan!)
The other two I remember that seemed to never miss were Mitch Richmond and Peja. Both were incredible shooters.

With that said, Curry is the best shooter I have ever seen.
